7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Asian Sunday week #103 - winner announcement!

@axeman Asian Sunday entry:

This time nice view from Sharjah, UAE. This is of smallest and "poorest" Emirates but most religiously concerned... There are no so many skyscrapers than in Dubai, but still much more than in my city.. :D Here had quite a luck to catch sun's halo on sunset. Though pretty hard shooting conditions straight against the sun and without LEE gradient filter. So had to gather a lot of information from the shadows to get building details, but well, good enough I hope. Enjoy the scenery!

Restinga Lagoon

La restinga.jpg

Is a national park that is located on Margarita Island in Venezuela. Its main attraction is the intricate networks of navigable channels, some very narrow by the mangroves. The walk through the canals is very relaxing and quite interesting and is done in boats that reach a beautiful beach.

Beautiful palm trees on the colon promenade. Puerto la Cruz-Venezuela.
For some time I was in my vehicle on this route of the Paseo Colon and these palm trees caught my attention. A few days ago I decided to stop and walk a little with the intention of photographing them. They intertwined forming a triangle, I love its freshness and the view towards the sea is very beautiful and relaxing.

I never cease to be surprised with the colors of each sunset, they are always so intense and beautiful, the painter is the best teacher who plays with his color palette at will so that we all enjoy day after day. I took this image in the wonderful Morro Hill, one of my favorite places to see the sunsets, this hill is located in the coastal area of Anzoátegui state, Venezuela.

Sunset in Valle Verde - Margarita Island.

Every sunset is different on Margarita Island. It is impressive every afternoon to hide the sun in its reflections and different shades every day. I enjoy them every afternoon. I love sunsets and especially here on the Island.

Travelling through Ecuador is candy for the eyes. If you love nature, you will be amazed by the landscape. Majestic mountain, flamboyant vegetation, perfect weather and breathtaking scenery all around.

Cave in Torotoro, Bolivia

Torotoro National Park near Cochabamba is one of the hidden gems of Bolivia. While the national park is mostly famous for dinosaur footprints, it is also home to some amazing hikes and caves that local guides offer tours to. I managed to capture this long-exposure while the guide was lightning up the cave with a torch.
