Two of Fernando Botero´s iconic "Fat Statues" found in Medellin, Colombia. Born in Medellin in 1932, Fernando Botero is one of the most recognized artists of Colombia as well as all Latin America. He is known for a very specific artistic style (sometimes referred to as "Boterism") that is characterized by enormously large figures of people and animals with exaggerated or even distorted body proportions.

Photo of La Serena, a city at the north of Chile at shores of the Pacific Ocean. The lighthouse seen in the image is one of the landmarks of the city. It was built in the 50s. The photo has a special mood due to the mist produced by the interaction of the humidity of the sea and the dryness of the desert.

Sunset in the Pantanal, Paraguay
The Pantanal is one of the few true gems left in the world that are rarely ever visited by tourists - a place truly for adventurous travellers. I was incredibly lucky to meet amazing people and get the chance to volunteer at Tres Gigantes, a remote biological station in this giant wetlands.

There are two small hills very close to each other in Copacabana, Bolivia. One more touristic than the other. I climbed to the top of these two hills. Here is the view of "El Sapo" on the neighboring hill.

I visit the Paramo Mountains on the Merida State from Venezuela. Is one of the coolest places in the country and I really love the view. I take so many pictures but this is really one of the most impressive on it. That one was taken from 4680 meters above sea level on the Sugar Loaf one of the mountains. Hope you like it.
