Visiting Machu Picchu "The Lost City of the Incas" has been on my bucket list for years and that day felt like a dream. There is so much beauty here and still it hasn´t all been uncovered. So the history of Machu Picchu is still a big mystery.
Your entries need to be submitted by 8 AM Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.
Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total.
Please see the winners of the previous contests of the week and give them your support if you like their images to be the one winning the weekly price and entering the other stages of the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge. You can vote for them by upvoting their winner announcement posts below:

Along the Hoogly river, the sun is slowly setting. The colours are very warm and this is the best time to hop on a boat and sail the waters to enjoy the view over amazing temples built on the river side.

Where cold meets warm. Too much stunning (even in my experience) and calm sunset at Curonian Spit, Lithuania. Deep winter and some nice icy frost formations on the beach sand. While warm colors of sunset making the overall view very unusual and contrasting. Enjoy the scenery!

The Al-Haramlik Palace. The Al-Haramlik Palace, at the Montaza Palace complex in the Al-Montaza royal gardens in Alexandria, Egypt. Perfect place to get some rest even from the hot Egyptian sun. Shot in the morning while traveling with tourists bus, so the sun was just rising behind the palace. Enjoy the scenery!

Behind the house of my farm that is in the municipality of Macaé, in the interior of Rio de Janeiro / Brazil, has a pasture hill. The beginning of the slope is gentle and easy to climb to observe this panorama of the mountains.

The Virgin of Cerro El Morro
The Virgin of the Valley as they call it is venerated in the eastern coastal area of Venezuela. This representation of this virgin is located at the top of Cerro El Morro, which is located in the town of Lecherias, which corresponds to the Anzoátegui State of Venezuela. When you look at the image you can see that it seems that rays of light coming from the sky illuminate it. radiating with its love energy the whole place. It is always very comforting to visit this place where at the same time you connect with nature and the sun, you can exercise if you wish, walking, jogging or pedaling a bicycle, to the top.

This is the Cathedral of La Paz, Bolivia. The highest Cathedral in the world. It is amazing the details that where going into these amazing constructions. Today, everything is made the same and is boring because all need to be completed so fast. Too sad we do not make any remarkable and durable constructions anymore.

Roofs of Potosi, Bolivia
Located at an altitude of over 4000m, Potosi is a city with a fascinating history: Thanks to the giant silver mine in Cerro Rico, the mountain in the background, Potosi became the richest city in the world in the 16th century. These times are over, but many impressive churches built by the Spanish remain.
