7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Asian Sunday week #94 - winner announcement!
@marc-allaria Asian Sunday entry:
Photo shot during a meeting at Lombok Island, around Bali, with seaweed fishermen. A kind of fishing which needs works of men and women. This culture is more and more common around the world.
7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – Australian Monday week #94 – winner announcement!
@jpphotography Australian Monday entry:
"Lost City" in Litchfield NP. These rock formations in Litchfield National Park in Australia's Northern Territory are known as "lost city" and while these rocks are all natural, if you look at them closely, you can actually recognise the pillars of an ancient city!
@axeman Tuesday of Antarctica and world's oceans entry:
The Visions from the Red Planet. Yet another vision brought from the deep space from some alien planet out there. Deep red colors and some stone creatures as native habitants :) Recently have got my 8th planet in @nextcolony, so maybe it does look like that? Shot at the coast of Baltic Sea using quite magic Singh-Ray polarizing filter. It just makes some fairy tale out of normal colors of sunset, you just have to keep turning it and see results. A bit of long exposure to get silky smoke on the water surface and of course camera on tripod. Enjoy the scenery!
7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – African Wednesday week #94 – winner announcement!
@itchyfeetdonica African Wednesday entry:
I took this photo right after sunrise in Erg Chebbi, the large seas of dunes formed by wind-blown sand in Morocco. The sand here looked more orangish than in the other dunes I've seen before. The heavy storm of the previous night also contributed to the deeper colours. Hope you enjoy the gorgeous curves and shades as I did!
7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - European Thursday week #94 - winner announcement!
@robbertb European Thursday entry:
This is the Erasmus Bridge, named after famous Dutch priest and humanist Desiderius Erasmus. The brigde connects the North and the South of Rotterdam, which is divided in the centre by the river The Maas. With it's almost 300 meters in length and almost 150 meters in height, this bascule bridge is the largest and heaviest bascule bridge in Western Europe. The lights make the impressive bridge really stand out at night.
7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – North American Friday week #94 – winner announcement!
@drmincu North American Friday entry:
The Big Apple is amazing at night. And one of the best places to see it in all its glory is the Top of The Rock. Climb it just after sunset and see the city come alight.

Colombian street art scene is very famous and renowned so it comes as no surprise that you can find many very impressive murals in the capital city of Bogota. This beautiful piece was created on a house in La Candelaria, the city´ old town.

I encountered these alpacas and llamas during the exhausting but epic hike to the Rainbow Mountain in Peru. They were running wild on the breathtaking harsh highland with an elevation of almost 5000 meters (about 16000 feet). Enjoy the stunning view! :)

Jeep driving in Altiplano, Bolivia
Crossing the Eduardo Avaroa Andean Fauna National Reserve and the Uyuni salt lake was one of the best experiences I had in South America. The landscapes in this part of Bolivia are out of this world!

In its surroundings you can go horse riding, cycling and trekking. You can also know the Lenga estuary, which corresponds to a natural ecosystem of wild birds, such as black-necked swans, cormorants, pelicans and taguas, among many others.

Close to the border of Chile, I made a stop in the Laguna Colorada where I saw a lot of Pink flamingos. The Bolivian altiplano is full of flamingos, but you have to know were to look. Yes, it was cold, yes the altitude is not for everyone, but the experience is well worth it.

Even in a dry tree, you can find the beauty of creation, and we can find surreal natural paintings, it was the impression he gave me when I looked at this tree , until the sun of dawn he collaborated to give me this interesting framework that I loved. I took this photo in Playa Lido, where I go out to do my morning exercises. Playa Lido** is located in the coastal area of Anzoátegui State, Venezuela.

Red Beach
This beautiful beach is located in the Mochima National Park. State Sucre-Venezuela. Exactly in the middle between Puerto la Cruz (Anzoátegui) and Cumaná. Sucre state)
I've been going through this road for years and it's the first time I've decided to go in and get to know Playa Colorada, it's a lovely place, I felt very good there. Its waters are completely transparent and calm and its sand of golden and reddish tones.

Today I walked on the beach of Campeche (Florianópolis, Santa Catarina - Brazil) and this time I went to the opposite side of what I am normally accustomed to go. It is a busiest area, as there are many buildings near the waterfront and being Saturday, many people take a dip. The place is of waves and surf, but today the sea was super quiet forming small pools for the children to have fun.

Breathtaking capture. You just might want to extend the description a bit to meet the 30-word requirement ;)
