See the winner of the last week´s Tuesday of Antarctica and World´s Oceans @bluebottlefilms with the following entry:

The beauty and grace of these creatures is astonishing. They glide effortlessly around our oceans impressing all that pass them by. This particular one had an interesting colouration that I had not seen before.

Your entries need to be submitted by 8 AM Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.

Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The endless Atlantic Ocean merging with the blue sky and clouds far on the horizon as seen and captured from a top of a mountain towering above the picturesque Orotava Valley in the northern part of the Tenerife Island, Spain.

Yep, looks like there is no end to it. Wonderful shot!

Tarifa - A place for watersport fans

The ocean offers us the chance to do many freaking awesome sports like surfing, diving, snorkling, sailing and so on. We went to Tarifa, Spain, in 2012 for my grandpa's 80th birthday. It was a fun trip and we could go kite surfing every single day! Awesome experience.

Some thoughts about the trip on my blog. I wish everybody a blast at #steemfest 3!

That must be such a fun thing to do!

It sure is! Check it out one day. You won't regret it!

Close and personal with a jellyfish from the Mediterranean sea, near Marseille. It always make me nervous when I go in the sea and see some jellyfishes floating around. This specie probably don't stings unlike the purple ones that are usually found in the Mediterranean.

I do get the same feeling, you never know what can be hiding in there, lol.....

Ice from the glacier is coming to the ocean. Surface is total black sand and waves looking different with long exposure settings are what makes photo a bit special. If you want to see it in person visit Iceland :)

What a fabulous composition.

Ko Phi Phi Don Sunset.jpg

Sunset over P.P. Long Beach with some longtail boats (ruea hang yao) parked for the day. This shot was taken just about a month before the 2004 Boxing Day or Indian Ocean tsunami wiped out everything on the island including most of the beautiful people there. Phi Phi Don is a rugged limestone island with development confined to a low sandbar isthmus separating two main wings of the island and did not stand a chance. The waves up to 30 metres (100 ft) high ended up taking the lives of approximately 280,000 people across 14 countries. Ko Phi Phi Don. Ko Phi Phi Archipelago, Andaman Sea, Thailand. Shot taken of Fuji Velvia Slide Film

What a sad day! You were very lucky to be there a mont early to avoid such a catastrophy.

Yes very lucky. So sad as most of the people on the island did not make it. I also flew out of Japan a couple of days before the Tsunami there so they seem to follow me around.

28 February 2018. After quite a long period of very cold weather the coastline of Baltic Sea got frozen 20-40 meters from the coast. Constant wind and waves forming very interesting patterns on the ice. A kind of mixture of stone, ice pieces, pure ice and some snow on top.

Combined with terrific colorful sunset with warm colors (in contrast to cold colors of ice) all in one brings very unusual scenery

Enjoy it!

Watching the sun set over the Red Sea in Hurghada, Egypt. Was the best was to end the day after travelling through the desert for the past week. Hurghada has some of the best diving conditions in the world, with high visibility under the water.

You could just stare at that for hours and hours.......

Freediving is a great way to really feel connected to those animals living in the ocean. 9116C170-7666-4789-9BFC-E773642A2EB0.jpegThis was one of those moments when you just stop and stare at the beauty of what the ocean has to offer.

Just wow!

Beach in Queensland, Australia

Queensland is famous for its surf and Australians and tourists alike love to catch waves on the Gold coast. Snapper rocks, where I snapped this photo, is a particularly popular spot and filled with surfers.

I have also posted this photo on my blog.

I just really need to make my way to Australia. Don't know where to go first thought looking at all your amazing pics, lol.....

I can recommend Tasmania, still my favourite part of Australia!

Surfers waiting out in the water for a last wave, hoping for the flat ocean to rise and bring them back on earth for this one last ride before the sunset completely disappear behind the horizon line... A spectacular scenery to keep on dreaming :)

I took this photo of a sawfish at the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta (USA). This strange looking fish is characterized by the long nose extension having sharp transversal teeth that resembles a saw. It could reach a size of up to 7 meters and its located in tropical and subtropical costal regions.

Nusa Lembongan is a small island in Indonesia. Island has slowly grown as a tourist destination thanks to its good chill-beach vibes and nature. This view was near Devil´s Tears point. Exploring Devil´s Tears was a great experience. The outcrop sucks the water in before it explodes out with a boom, creating the tears of the devil.

Ruby Beach

I took this photo in early April on the wild Washington coast on a typical, cold dismal day. I'm amazed at the beauty despite the rugged and often harsh conditions.

Here is a photo of the Pacific Ocean from the coast of Northern California. I took this on a family trip in April 2017. The sky was perfectly blue, and the water and waves were beautiful!
