Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @ritxi:

At the intersection of Jánská and Minoritská Streets in Brno, there stands a church dedicated to two Saint Johns – St. John the Baptist and St. John the Evangelist. This church is the originally Gothic Minorite monastery from 1257. It was rebuilt in the baroque style by Moritz Grimm between 1729 and 1733. Next to the church there is a beautiful Loreto Chapel. Ahoj!

Here's my entry :) Thanks for the Saturday motivation!

Few years ago, I decided to not throw birthday parties anymore, but to go to destinations I've never been before. Prague, the so beautiful, and as it appeared to me, the amazing capital of the Czech Republic was one of the first locations I visited under this "project" :) I knew the old capital is very beautiful, as a photographer I have seen lots of pictures from there, but one of my main goals was to photograph the "Dancing House" at night. On Internet, I've mainly saw daytime photos and I imagined how stunning it would be at night. And I was right! I spent several hours that night, making long-exposure photos of it and this one above is one of my favorite ;)

I almost forgot to mention something funny: that night, there was a party on the roof (the glowing blue thing on top) and there were many people dancing! It looked like they were enchanted by the brave architecture of the building. :D

I hope you like it!

Path lined with trees in a park right next to the Straznice Chateau, one of the most dominant features of the little town of Straznice. Located in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic, some 15 km outside of the town of Hodonin, Straznice is home to 5,600 people.

Saint Francis Borgia

Statue by Ferdinand Borkoff

Four days ago I was crossing Charles Bridge on the way to the Apple Museum in Prague when I noticed you could just about see the sun through the heavy mist and light clouds that were just beginning to clear up.

By under-exposing my iPhone7 camera a bit, I could create a ping-pong ball out of the sun and have some fun with the statues on the bridge. Below is my entry for this contest but some of the rest of the photos can be seen here: Celestial Games

Saint Francis Borgia was a relative of Cesare Borgia and is believed by some to be Leonardo Da Vinci's model when depicting the image of Jesus Christ popular today.

Wow, this is very cool! I love your creativity here. Awesome job.

Thank you @phortun :)

Prague is an amazing city, not like other European cities. Cozy streets, the smell of trdelnik (sooo tasty buns), beautiful architecture, delicious food and relatively low prices.
Perhaps it should first of all be noted that airplanes from my city fly to Prague daily. Prague can also be reached by train, but this is the choice of your taste and wallet and from which country you are.
Upon arrival, we immediately went for a walk around the city. Tours do not like to take, so the map in hand, a guide and go!
First of all, of course, we went to Charles Bridge. I would not say that he caused a special delight, but the view from there is very beautiful. Next we went to the Old Town Square, where the famous astronomical clock.
I want to note that in Prague the main attractions are within walking distance.

August 2018: Prague. Old Town Square, with the enlightened and beautiful Tyn Church in the background rising in the dark skies of one of our last nights in this beautiful city.

Good morning, Tomas, I'm back with this image ..The Old Town Tower is the gateway to Malá Strana through the Charles Bridge. This medieval tower, considered one of the best examples of Gothic architecture in Europe, and in the foreground, the Charles bridge is the tourist image of Prague, it is like being in a beautifully enchanted area with the tower on one side and the castle road at the other end, always with many musicians and artists to please the visitors.I hope you like it ....

There was a really unusual building on Rašínovo nábřeží, after the initial impression that something was wrong, it seemed that something unusual happened, rather than the Dancing House I like the name Ginger and Fred, and the house really reminds the dancing couple. In the building of cultural events and various exhibitions, the top bar, and of course the glass-covered walls, a magnificent view.

Wallenstein Palace Gardens, One of my favorite parts of Prague!
Very unassuming and not well advertised, this is such a refreshing gem in the hot and crowded city. Loved walking around the fountains and perfectly manicured gardens. Much history here as well. Highly recommend a stop in!

Prague Castle
I am always impressed and amazed, what have people been able to build earlier. Just by stacking stones on each other, working stone, wood and iron with your hand. This is one of those buildings. Imposing and difficult to see, because is a fairly long way up.

Climbing to the Castle and entering St. Vitus Cathedral is a must. You can enter the Cathedral but you will have to pay to access the total space. If you can not afford it, in spite of everything you can get the idea of the interior of this religious building. But I strongly advise you to pay to be able to observe in detail every nook and cranny of the Cathedral.

The John Lennon Wall is located just off the Charles Bridge on the west side of the Vltava river. The wall itself is very colorful and some of the pictures, saying, comments, etc., are interesting. All day long people are going to the wall and having pictures of themselves taken against the wall. It makes for great people watching.
The Wall itself started in the late 60's as a wall where people would write comments and draw pictures. After Lennon died people started writing Lennon quotes and pictures as a tribute to Lennon. It remains that way. Remember, The Beatles and John Lennon were never in Prague or the Czech Republic.
It is certainly worth checking out while in Prague.

Part of the St. Agnes Monastery Complex, street Na Františku, Prag, Old Town
P1090317.JPG
Since 1231, when the monastery was built, it was often repaired, damaged, rebuilt ... Archaeologists can not remove the walls, but they can dig where there are now gardens, courtyards ... Where archaeologists dig, they find something.
Buildings that have been created for centuries are more interesting to me than those that were created at the same time. So are the cities. There are, of course, exceptions.

National Museum-Prague
Located at the top of Place SAINT VENCESLAS, this imposing neo-renaissance building is magnificent. It contains the Museum of History and Natural Sciences and the Library. Beautiful vault, the different rooms are all more beautiful than the others. The staircase is majestic and the whole of this monument absolutely superb: DO NOT MISS

This square is beautiful and magical, perhaps it is the most beautiful square I have ever visited. It has a strong charm both day and night. I would recommend to visit it especially or early in the morning, when there are not too many tourists or in the evening, late, when artificial lighting makes it even more magical

Cesky Krumlov is in the South Bohemian Region about 2 hours drive from Prague. Its historic City Centre, where the Vltava River bends and towered over by the Cesky Krumlov Castle, is a designated World Heritage Site. Amazing view from the top and magical to wander the streets.

Petrin Tower
we left the city center on foot and we walked towards this tower. we had a nice walk across the bridge and continuing to climb towards the castle. from there we took a path in the park that brought us to this attraction. you can see the whole city of Prague.

Beautiful church, good architectural designed

Instead of making plagiarism, it is better to make your own work, even though it looks simple but there is priceless satisfaction.
