Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @krakonos:

The Cannon Cross was an Austrian medal that was awarded to all the soldiers who fought against Napoleon. The medals were made from metal of captured French cannons. Therefore, the cannon cross. There are two houses in Prague with this sign.Since 1770 the houses in Bohemia have been given its numbers. But before that there were house signs. And even then these signs were used, but only as an ornament.

I rewarded @krakonos entry with some extra upvote. Feel free to visit her blog and check out some of her other entries.

Thank you for your submissions. Have a great day and keep on Steeming!

Loved Cesky Krumlov !!! Small, sunny, belted river. We are sorry that we did not dare to sail around the old city in a canoe. Frightened by the passage of two thresholds and a narrow corridor. It's a pity. We represent how beautiful the city is from the side of the river. One day is enough to explore the city. Do not forget to look into the brewery.

Romantic water castle Blatná can be found in South Bohemia.
In his vast park we can meet a tame fallow deer.
At present, the castle was returned to the noble family of Hildprants in restitution, is open to the public and I can definitely recommend it.

Windows of the Dancing House. I used one of my favorites buildings in Prague, the Dancing House, with its post-modern architecture to take this “abstract photo”, the architectural dynamic of the building is reflected in this image.

Botanical Garden in Troja, Prague

The Prague Botanical Garden itself is interesting by plants. But besides, it is placed on a high rock above Prague. That is why interesting views of Prague are possible. I'll show a few in the next posts.

St. Vitus Cathedral. To cover the majestic building has to raise your head high to the top. It is necessary to photograph in parts, since the cathedral does not fit the frame completely.
Acute Gothic collection spiers are visible from almost anywhere in Prague. In addition to its impressive size, the cathedral is located on a hill.
The cathedral makes a strong impression of grandeur! In this case, it is not only about the size, but also about the architecture. I get an association with a fabulous palace of an evil witch.

Dancing House
The building is also known by this name as its towers are reminiscent of the famous couple of dancers Ginger Rogers and Fred Astair, where Ginger is represented by the glass tower and Fred by the stone one. It is certainly an original building, it is no coincidence that Time magazine, in 1996, awarded it as the best in the Design category of the year.

John Lennon Wall
It is the wall of freedom of expression although the truth that has become a tourist where people put their name or any other nonsense that has nothing to do with the purpose of the wall, is overcrowded. The important thing about the wall is that it was a place where at the time of repression in Prague they started to put songs by John Lennon with lyrics that incited freedom and that was not well seen, then they continued to post messages until it began to mass and put anything. Tourism is fine as long as you respect the monuments and cities that you visit.

Statue of Franz Kafka
It is right at the exit (or entrance) of a mall. You may be observing for a long time the various movements of the sculpture. Still, chasing the right moment when the face is formed to get a beautiful photo.

Charles Bridge
Very nice place to go to see during a stay in Prague, I advise you to go very early to take a nice picture and have a nice view because very difficult when the influence of tourists can even put a foot in front of the other, I will even advise you towards the end of the bridge to go down the stairs and to sit down or just take a nice photo photo of the bridge near the water.

The old town square is the heart of Prague! Full of restaurants and crystal shops, with many tourists and many attractions. The façades of the buildings are fantastic and the square houses the famous astronomical clock. We are located around the main attractions of Prague. You can find restaurants of various specialties, as well as souvenir shops and crystals.

The Vrtba Garden
Secret Garden in the heart of the city
This garden is a little hard to find plus there is a small entrance fee but it is so worth it. Stunning, terraced, serene garden hidden away and great place to sit and take a break when visiting the Prague Castle district

Thank you for the extra reward. Also, of course, thank you for organizing the photo contest.
