WARNING: The use of images that are not your own on which you claim the ownership will be flagged and/or reported to @steemcleaners - HELPING TO STOP PLAGIARISM ON STEEMIT

Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @phortun:

View of the Radun Chateau, an impressive Renaissance chateau found in the village of Radun in the Moravian - Silesian Region of the Czech Republic. The chateau premises comprised a brewery, malt-house and a farmstead. It is surrounded by a large landscape park in the English style and an orangery with exotic plants.

Charles Bridge, Prague

I visited Prague in April 2017 for specific goal to make photos of the most interesting landmarks and create Prague photo collection. Ofcourse Charles Bridge is the most famous landmark and it was first in my list. I made this photo in the early morning from low position to emphasise cobblestones.

Great picture.

Wow, that is so awesome looking. That point of view that you took it from gives it a really cool look.

That is a simply amazing image of the Charles Bridge that is well worth featuring in today´s edition. Bravo!

Thank you so much for featuring my yesterday´s entry, Tomas! :) Today, I am coming with this shot of the Ostrozna Street in Opava. Found in the historic center of the town, it is the busiest and most famous street in the town. However, I took this image early in the morning so there are no people there :)

IMG_20180501_134918.jpg

lol. I looked at the picture before I read your description about it and when you said it was the busiest street, I had to look back at the street and see if I had missed something. I have been drinking Vodka tonight, but I didn't think I was that fuzzy eyed yet. Then I read that you where there early and started laughing to myself. I love the colors of the buildings. I can't wait to visit.

Water Tower, street U Letenské vodárny, Bubeneč, Prague 7

Apart from the churches, water towers are also the highlights of Prague. This is from 1888 (a neo-Renaissance style). It served until 1913. Then it would be changed to apartments for waterworks employees and after 1948 in offices.
I have a personal memory on the tower. About thirty years ago, I stood there in front of a military detention committee. And I was recognized by the military service capable.
Now there is a tea room on the top floor. There is an interesting view from here.
And watch, the clocks have been broken for a few years and they do not show the right time!

View from Lysá hora
Lysá hora (1323 m) is the highest mountain of the Moravian-Silesian Beskids. The Šance dam visible in the picture is built on upper course of the Ostravice River is used as a reservoir of drinking water to nearby towns and villages.

Astonishing view! I love Beskydy :)

Me too :)
Thanks a lot.

Truly beautiful view. I just love Beskyd Mountains. Thank you for sharing. Tomas

Yesterday I mentioned the viewing tower Jařabina. So I'll show you today. The first lookout tower in this place was built in 1884 (destroyed by the breeze). Another was built in 1929, but it was destroyed after the Second World War. The last one, that is, the current one, was restored in 2009. You can find it about 100 meters to the right of the road III / 2543, or on the red mark from Litvínov.

Liberec is one of the biggest cities of the Czech Republic located on its northern part. On the photo there is the Town Hall, which was built due to the architectural design by Viennese architect, Franz Neumann – this is probably why it reminds me Vienna Town Hall, they look soo similar!
Ahoj!

The Jerusalem Synagogue on Jeruzalémská street is a beautiful piece of unusual (for Prague) architecture nestled in between other "normal" buildings. It is just a few dozen meters from the main train station, and conveniently on your way to the city center, so you can make it one of your first stops when you get in to town.

Czech history is visible from many monuments in Prague. One of them is also the equestrian statue of Jan Zizka on Vitkov Hill in Prague-Zizkov. Jan Zizka was an one-eyed leader of the Hussite army who gain the victory over Crusaders sent to destroy the Hussites’ movement. The battle took place on the Vitkov Hill in Prague on 14 July 1420. To commemorate Jan Zizka’s victory, the Prague quarter is named after him and an equestrian statue by Bohumil Kafka was erected in 1950.

There are no words to describe how amazing this place is. Speechless! Just go and see yourself. Beautiful place very romantic, every time I come back is more to see.
Zelny Trh, Public Square in Brno. I like the city very much. It's very nice here.

vila tugendhat, Brno. You have to book in advance if you want to see inside the house. It's no good turning up unannounced they will not let you in. The house is worth the effort. It is breathtakingly beautiful. I cannot get enough of Vila Tugendhat. Each time I go I experience it differently.

Sunrise in Krkonose Mountains. This picture I took in 2016 on the border with Poland but the view is on Czech Republic ;) After finding out that on Snezka (the highest mountain) a lot of people is coming to see sunrise, this time I decided to find place without people.

Wow! That is a truly epic sunrise. Well done!

Everyone is doing this shot on Square. Why I can not do it too - I thought. I put the camera on the trash can and made a shot with a long exposure. Cars were moving by, passers-by scurryed ... The shutter clicked. I checked the picture on the screen. It seemed that it turned out quite well. And only at home I saw on the photo... a one guy! He was sitting in a relaxed pose in the very center of the frame :-0

The Church of St. Ludmila on Náměstí Míru ("Peace Square"). namesti miru, praha 2 - vinohrady is one of the main attractions in Czech Republic. Cool place to run, go for a walk, and even grill and chill out with friends!

The Klementinum complex in Prague is, after Prague Castle, the second largest complex of historic buildings in the Czech capital. From its foundation to today it is a living center of culture and education. For more than 200 years, Klementinum has been home to the National Library and the most valuable manuscripts in its collection are stored here. In addition, you will find in your files absolutely all the books, magazines and newspapers of the last two hundred years.

St. Vitus Cathedral - The business card of Prague. We go inside and it's no less beautiful than outside.
Above this magnificence worked more than ten artists, including the famous Alfons Mukhu. Worthy of admiration. For Prague, where at every corner of the Gothic or the Middle Ages, the cathedral is not some kind of exclusivity, but the appearance and size of the temple - can not but impress! The undoubted advantage for tourists planning to visit the site is the presence of a large square near the temple - it is on it that you can completely "cover" the church from the foundation to the top of the tower's spire.

Czech beer is one of the best. I tried Krušovice during dinner and it was very good indeed. I took this photo in a restaurant at Prague. One of the most common type of beer in the world Pilsen is called after a city of Bohemia, known in Czech as Plzeň.

I know i have surprised a lot of people with this entry as i go a bit off from my usual. We had to test for the nutrient content of these vegetables in the laboratory. Our attention was actually to check which vegetable was high in PHOSPHORUS. I want someone to guess which was the highest and applaud him or her.

LOL, no idea:).... cabbage?

It is the carrot with 35milligrams per every 100 grams. It was a good try @czechglobalhosts congratulations

Interesting image for the competition, but I am digging it. I like those that think outside of the box far enough that they create their own box. I am guessing that the carrots were the highest in phosphorus.

Thank you and congratulations @derangedvisions
We will win together

Chlumcany, Ústecký Kraj

Photo taken by a Dron of a friend that lives in Czech Republic

The Usti Region has 46 cities, where is living 80,7 % of its inhabitants, and 354 villages. The villages up 500 inhabitants are representing 54 % of all villages in Region, but there is living only 5,8 % of inhabitants.

That is zoologická zahrada brno, beautiful zoo! We have a lot of zoos in the Czech Republic and in the neighboring countries. there was also Brno. we expected only a few animals, but to our surprise, the garden was quite alive. The whole area is seen as trying to recreate and reconstruct the individual animal quarters as the financial possibilities allow.

Been a few years since I visited Prague; been lucky enough to visit in Easter time, so apart from the great views there was an Easter marker in central square, with delicious Trdlo! When returning home crossing one of the bridges, I had this great view of the old city and the Prague Castle, as well as the famous Carles bridge, crossing Vltava river.

Kokořín Castle is a castle located some 10 km northeast of Mělník, Czech Republic. It was built in the first half of the 14th century by order of Hynek Berka z Dubé. It was heavily damaged during the Hussite Wars and stood in ruins until the reconstruction campaign of 1911–1918. It was nationalized in 1948 and has been designated a national cultural landmark since 2001.
