WARNING: The use of images that are not your own on which you claim the ownership will be flagged and/or reported to @steemcleaners - HELPING TO STOP PLAGIARISM ON STEEMIT

Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great weekend! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @narchuk:

Walk past and do not have a panoramic view of the Czech Krumlov impossible. Magical place. Was it interesting to make a movie here? For me, these are the best scenery for the film in the genre of fantasy. Togo and look from under the bridge below there will be trolls, or the dragon will fly. I wonder if there are other interesting shooting points with a view of the city? Not so popular. And is it possible to run drones there?

The Obelisk in the central yard of the building complex known as the Castle of Prague. It is a granite monolith and it was built as memorial of the First World War in 1928. Its design contrasts the Gothic/Baroque architecture of the neighboring buildings.

What a great spot and a piece of information to be featured for other to see. Thank you for your entry. Tomas

Zizkov Lookout Tower, one of most famous sctructures in Prague. It is sometimes considered one of the ugliest buildings in the world but I dont really understand why, I just love it. There is a great restaurant up there from where you can enjoy beatufiul panoramic views of Prague.

No matter what people think the Zizkov Lookout Tower has become a recognizable architectural monument of Prague. Thank you for your great image!

It is unlikely that anyone will be able to pass by this extraordinary house in Prague with an interesting name "U Minuty". This house is located on the old town square, near the famous astronomical clock. The main feature of this ancient building is the decoration of the facade portraits of the rulers of the Czech Republic, scenes from the old Testament, stories from ancient mythology, made in the technique of sgraffito. The building of "the minute" from the XV century was restored several times. And one day it was decided to demolish it due to the collapsing walls. But, fortunately, this plan wasn't executed, the house was once again restored and strengthened. And today you can not only enjoy its beautiful view, but also sit in a cafe with the same name to have a Cup of delicious coffee, while watching the bustle of the old town square.)

What a great addition to @rajsij-sad entry!

Thank You!

Thank you for the great photo!)) The coffee was great)

Thank you for this fantastic information regarding the history of this amazing spot. Have a great day. Tomas

I am very glad that you liked my information. There's more information on this house on my blog. Here I cut it and gave only one photo. Thank you very much for your wonderful contest. I am glad to share my impressions about my beloved Prague!

Czech Republic is a country that will not leave a single tourist indifferent. I still remember these romantic shops, narrow streets, cleanliness and order, which is so lacking at home. Going to Prague, take comfortable shoes. You will have to walk around the city, laid brushchatka.
People in Prague are friendly, always smiling, ready to come to the rescue at any time. In the Czech Republic there is something to see, it is difficult to describe everything. Go - do not regret it. And definitely try "Becherovka" and "icic" beer !!!83174930.jpg

This is one of the cemeteries of the city of Prague in the Czech Republic, a place with good architecture. Everyone has this place very carefully and decorated with clores for the deceased, it is good to see that they have a place like that with flowers of different colors for the place where the deceased meet.

Congrats to @narchuk for having his photograph featured. It does convey a fairy-tale atmosphere.

For my contribution this Sunday, as I am having my coffee and classical music relaxation time, here is the organ of St Vitus Cathedral. From what I understand, a new instrument has been commissioned to take its place in the original baroque cabinet in 2019. Such a beautiful cathedral deserves a magnificent organ powerful enough to blow the roof off, metaphorically speaking.

The castle in Mníšek pod Brdy was originally a castle built before 1348. It was then rebuilt several times to the chateau. In years 1487, 1656-1672 and last for 1910-1911. Until 2006, a massive reconstruction took place. The chateau is owned by the state and is open to the public.

Another amazing place of interest entry from you. Thank you so much!

Josefov is the Jewish quarter. Here you will find several synagogues, the old Jewish cemetery and many very nice. If you do not stop to walk around is also a good experience.
Outstanding neighborhood, where we realize that the soul of this people is still present!

A must in Prague! Was the most loveliest way to celebrate All Day! The food, setting with breathtaking views and service were incredible. Can’t wait to go back!
Stunning views of Prague and one of the best meals I've had ever. If you love French cooking this place totally delivers. The burger with foie gras and the duck main were amazing and the steak tartare the best I've had. Fab wine selection too. Love it, perfect for a special occasion.

What a great recommendation on dining options in Prague! I might have to check it out myself one day once in the city!

sure!

This church is located close to the main Náměstí Svobody in the south Moravian City Brno. I have taken many pictures of this church, but this one is my favorite :) I might share some other angles of this church later on :) Btw it wasn't easy to get this picture without any people as there were lots of people in crowds that day, walking in and out or just passing through :)

Tourists who visit Cesky Krumlov don't know probably about this place. You need to go on Křížová hora and you an find small chapel there. I was lucky because on my way I met woman who is taking care of this place, she went for a walk with her dog. She had keys to this chapel so I could see how it looks inside.

A little bit of Czech culture and sweets for today. This is a very typical heart made of gingerbread that you can buy at country fairs usually in the summer at many small Czech towns. The heart is decorated with many colors and usually, have a couple words on it saying To My Love, To Dad, To Granpa, To Friend, etc. It's not only delicious but also a great present if you ever have a chance to visit these fairs.

That is karlovo náměstí - třebíč. Třebíč is a town in the Moravian part of the Vysočina Region of the Czech Republic. it's beautiful town, we have always liked it but some know it, others do not. I always like to go back there if only for a moment. Go through the town, visit the basilica, and the few who know what else I have.

The same as the Oktoberfest in München, it is also the popular beer festival in Prague offers thousands of liters of the golden drink in one liter canes, called "tuplák". You can try more than 70 brands of Czech beers of the highest quality during the festival, along with the best treats of Czech chefs, butchers and bakers. You will also like music shows, weekend parties and the store called "beer diversities" that offers tastings of foreign beers that are not well known in the country.

That is something that Czechs love the most, lol.... Thank you for your entry!

Yes it is, it is very important to your country. I had a nice experience in that time. Thank's very much.

Two interesting things in one photo, that is what my today´s entry is about. You can find it in Valtice, Freedom square. The first thing is Mariansky sloup (built in 17th century) and the second thing is a church (kostel Nanebevzeti Panny Marie), also built in 17th century. This church is a replacement of an old church.

At a glance this mirib with eggs.
But this is not a giant egg.
This is a marble-lined staircase inside the building of the departmental and industrial department of Prague. If you are sailing by boat on the river vltava. You can see a three-story building with a light green dome above the dome there is a Czech country flag.

Prague astronomical clock

The astronomical clock in Prague is not only the symbol of the Czech capital, it is also the oldest mechanism of its style in Europe and a prodigy of medieval times, period from which it dates. Photo taken in the year 2012.

The chandelier in the Saint Dominic Church, Old town Prague. Again the picture is taken using an iPhone. I know it is not the best quality but real thing is much better.

Prague is one of the most romantic cities ive been in. Everybody should visit it!
