Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @imbi:

Hello Tomas and other Steemians! Couple of my friends visited us in Prague and we decided to browse the streets of Zizkov. We had a couple of beers and it started to get dark. We decided to look for a cool spot to watch the sunset. We came across this lovely park and decided to join the others.

Side view of the famous Slavia Coffee (Kavarna Slavia in the Czech language). Located right on the bank of the Vltava River in the center of Prague, facing the National Theatre, the Slavia Coffee has always been very popular among some of the greatest Czech personalities such as politicians, artists, writers etc. It was also the favorite coffee of the former Czech president Vaclav Havel.

Oh, I love that place....A perfect entry to be featured today. Have a good one. Tomas

Hi Tomas, Thank you so much for choosing me today. Prague is so beautiful, perfect place for Steemit meet-up. We have such a great time with Dan @world-travel-pro. I wish you and Adam could join us:) Have a nice day!

Old Town Prague
This square will have you come back again and again. A true gem and so beautiful. Surrounded with classical buildings. The square is always crowded and there are 'buskers' in the middle doing their acts. Some good and some not so good. There is so much activity in Old Town Square and the architecture is beautiful. Old Town Square is a historical and most significant square in Prague.

This is a great picture. I love the buildings with those clouds. It would be cool to ride around in a horse drawn carriage through the town.

A truly magical place!

Distant view of the National Theatre (building with the golden roof) framed by trees as seen from Kampa, Prague. Considered the most important and iconic cultural institutions of the country, the National Theatre consists of three artistic ensembles: opera, ballet and drama.

Charles Bridge has many interesting features and details for the photographer. Certainly one of them is the set of statues located along the bridge. In this occasion I show a photo of a magnificent baroque sculpture. It is the statue of St. Luthgard, located at the south side of the bridge. It was sculpture by Matthias Braum at the beginning of the XVIII century. In the photo you can see the moon above the statue.

The Czech Republic is also a country of ponds. Everyone is convinced that they are the most in southern Bohemia. But you can find them in all Czech and Moravian regions.
Fish are and were food at fasting. As long as Christianity was part of the lives of our ancestors, there was a need for many fish and ponds. The sea was far away, and the fish rivers diminished.
Today the ponds have fallen and the freshwater fish are less.
(This pond is from the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands, the village of Panská Lhota, name Upper Pond...)

This photo I made in autumn (Begin of october), On the picture is my hometown - Jindřichův Hradec- mere town in the fishermens region of Southern Bohemia. The picture was shot when I came back home from a festival in city centre.
On the picture you can see Church of St. John the Baptist, one of the firs building of the city, grounded between 1320 and1350 A.D.

Interesting part of the lake Vajgar (in the czech language unusual word, comes from the german word "Weier") is the island. It was built hundrets of years later after the lake in 1860 by czech baron Jaromír Černín as a gift to his wife for 40th birthday.

My final shot from the series of Vyšehrad's views is a classic shot of Prague Castle. In the right part of the picture there is an atypical tower of the Emauzy temple, which has already appeared in the commentaries for @czechglobalhosts.

Wonderful diverse countryside, with undulating hills, white cliffs, bubbling brooks and valleys of vineyards. I feel a strong connection to this place. whenever I visit my home, I always find a time to visit Pálava. Palava is the warmest and one of the driest parts of the Czech Republic, many plant species that could not grow anywhere else in the Czech Republic occur here.

Yesterday, for the first time, I was selected by Tomas as the winner. Thank you so much! Today, I will show you from which pub we moved away to be able to see and captue the sunset. I do not remember the name of the pub anymore, but thanks to this picture I will be able to find it again.

Well said Wes.

It looks a lot like the dress I wear at sunsets in the bay, only instead of a castle they are boats. Beautiful photo friend. Successes and blessings for you.
