Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @peroo:

A village in the south of the Czech Republic that will leave you speechless. It is scenic, of course, many tourist shops may spoil the landscape. It is certain that if you go to Prague you ought to go to Cesky Krumlov. It is 3 hours by bus from Prague.

I wasn't sure where this image was taken until reading your post. I do like it very much, something bit different form day to day entries. Have a good one. Tomas

View of the magnificent building of the District Court in Opava that is located on the Olomoucka Street. Home to almost 60,000 people, Opava is a beuatiful historic city and the former capital of the Silesian Region of the Czech Republic.

Front view of the Troja Chateau - a beautiful Baroque chateau found in the Prague district of Troja. The chateau was built by the nobleman Vaclav Vojtech from Sternberk as his summer reisdence in the second half of the 17th century.

The tourist industry in Prague offers to the visitors many different way to visit and show the city. Some of them are very ingenious. In the touristic routes of the city, you see cars like in this photo. These cars look old, but they are modern and designed for confort of the tourists.

I really enjoyed the view from the Petrin Tower. It was only 150Kc to gain access to the top. Very over crowded, but definitely worth it for the spectacular view you get of Prague. The best way to make it to the top of Petrin Hill is by the cable car. There are beautiful gardens at the top of the hill too, I would suggest walking back down to street level, and exploring everything there is to see.

Such a stunning view! #timelessbeauty

the view. Its really Nice, you see most of the old town around and if you have a Nice weather you can take beautiful photographs and spend splendid time looking around yourself. The place is really good located in the middle of the stare mesto. The views is simply wow. The roof terrace is a must if you go there.

Let me guess from where did you take this photo...rooftop terrace "U Prince" right?! :D

Yaap! Right 😘

The city is amazing, be sure to visit it, even if you come to Prague. You will not regret your time, although you will drive half of the Czech Republic, the journey takes 2-2.5 hours each way. The town never burned and the main buildings survived from the 16th century. It is wonderful to walk along the same streets, past houses that have been existing for 5 centuries. The town itself has an even larger history, and of course, during this time, many mystical legends and real stories have been accumulated, connected with the castle, the town, and the inhabitants.

Cesky Krumlov
The whole city is liek a fairy tale, it has a look and a feel that you won't find anywhere in the world. From the big Castle to the tiny streets and the medieval houses, everything in this city looks like has came from paradise or a fairytale story.

St. Vitus Cathedral In Prague Against The Blue Sky
This cathedral tells the Czech story it was started under Charles IV
Beginning of the construction of Romanesque and gothic art completed in 1929
Beautiful bedside buttress bows it looks like a forest of stones
South facade admire the golden gate surmounted by a Venetian mosaic from 1370 the last judgment
South Renaissance tower covered with a baroque bulb as everywhere in Prague we find all the styles of the novel Gothic renaissance baroque.

St.Agnes Monastery Complex, Prague, Old Town

The National Gallery's collection of medieval art is located in a medieval monastery. Space and exposed objects fit together. Although good art looks good everywhere.
Medieval art is always about religion. And in the monastery's environment it is so extraordinary.

Myslím, že Anežský kláštor som asi ešte nenavštívila, musím napraviť, super Kraki ;)

V Praze je spousta míst, která stojí za vidění...

Charles Bridge
Great views, but extremely crowded as all the tourists, including us, want to see/cross the bridge. If you have a chance, avoid visiting during the weekend, as it is an incredible amount of people crossing the bridge and it will take you a lot longer to get across. We visited on a Wednesday afternoon and could enjoy a nice walk over the bridge without bumping into too many people.

This view never gets old!! I just love Prague:)

This window of the portico in front of the museum entrance on the Vitkov hill in Prague seems almost a frame. In the foreshortening stand the TV Tower and immediately before the beautiful Church of St. Procopius in the Zizkov quarter in Prague 3.

Picturesque Old European Square
Old Town Square in Prague includes a square and assorted narrow, barely-more-than-pedestrian roads emanating from it. The square itself has several cafes and shops, but the astronomical clock and tower is the most striking feature.

The newly restored Prague astronomical clock - have you seen it yet?
This clock has been preserved in time. It's defenetly a must see if your are in Prague. See the best astronomichal clock ever made in Prague city center. History shows that time flows. Checkpoint where most are meeting in the Prague historical center.

St. Nicholas Church
The church in the Old Town Square is famous for the Teen Church, but the church has a wonderful appearance, but the interior is also wonderful. I just entered when the concert was over but I was overwhelmed by the chandeliers, decorations and frescoes.

Prague's Vinohrady district was once royal vineyards, now it's a wonderful neighbourhood popular with young families and expats. Sometimes you'll see crazy things in Prague and this photo from Vinohrady will have anyone who knows anything about piloting a balloon agreeing that this is a "crazy thing."
