Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @dali-gis:

The Republic Square (Náměstí Republiky) is located on the site of the ancient moat that separated the Old Town from the New Town. This vast esplanade, which extends in the immediate vicinity of the medieval town, led to the construction of many important monuments in the late nineteenth and early twentieth century. Examples include the Municipal House, near the Powder Tower, the Hybernia Palace and the Jiří z Poděbrad Barracks (Palladium). Most of the square is a pedestrian zone that connects the two shopping centers Palladium and Kotva.

The beautiful view from Prague Castle in blue hours. I watched this view during a long time. All the beauty of the city is right in front of you. Furthermore the reflections on the river brought a different color to the photograph.

Bohemian Switzerland, Beautiful area of nature
Went on a day trip from Prague with a few friends. Decided to make our own way there on the train and bus - took around 2 hours to get there, but saved a lot of money and was easy to do. Once we arrived, we took the main hiking trail up to the archway - the walk up was very picturesque, and once we were at the top it was stunning. We had some time once we were down, so followed another trail to where the river and boat rides were. We didnt take a boat ride but it looked very pretty.
Overall a great day out and stunning scenery.

What a perfect day trip for anyone that wants to escape Prague for a bit! Perfect entry:)

Beautiful landscape shrouded in autumun colors outside of Hradec nad Moravici, a small town located in the Moravian - Silesian Region of the Czech Republic. The town is famous for the Hradec nad Moravici Chateau Complex and picturesque natural surroundings.

This very special building called "Ginger & Fred" or "The Dancing House" for its extravagant forms; The name was immediately appropriate because the house vaguely resembles a pair of dancers. Worth a look because the original architecture and in the middle of a very beautiful Art Nouveau and Baroque district. make the visit along the river. Take the opportunity to go on the small island.

Historic Center of Cesky Krumlov
The town is fabulous! Especially beautiful in the evening when most of the tourists leave. And you forget what time you live. You start to believe in ghosts and beautiful ladies! You can walk on it endlessly and you want to come there again and again!

Cesky Krumlov
what a place! Having known that it was so nice this place would have planned to stay longer. The town is nestled in the middle of the mountains, with lots of green around and in the middle the medieval town. All with red roofs and buildings of many years. and above: the castle. One does not get tired of walking through its narrow streets, having a beer in one of its taverns, and savoring some local food. The views from the castle are incredible. It's like a fairy tale.

Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, Monastery Strahov, Prag
P1090355.JPG
This temple was founded in 1140 as a Romanesque basilica. Over the centuries it has been rebuilt many times. Today it looks baroque, but it carries traces of all architectural styles.
The church is part of a large building complex.

Since, unfortunately, in August, an ugly blue cloth and scaffolding completely covered the astronomical clock, I took these pictures on the facade of the Town Hall building on Staromestskè namesti. From the first building on the right you enter the entrance of the town hall and the central door houses the tourist office.

The night view of Charles Bridge is especially beautiful. The beauty of Prague Castle, Vltava River and Charles Bridge is introduced by Nodame Cantabile and several traveling programs. Even if you really look from wherever you become a picture. Prague castle seen from the Charles Bridge at night was very fantastic.

Sedlec Ossuary
It’s the one and only church decorated with huge amount of bones It’s stunning and beautiful So much details have put in to work that you will not feel they are bones A masterpiece of all times Must see in your life. It is a grotesque display of human bones being made into chandelier or coat of arm, but unique and interesting at the same time. Well worth a visit.

Kaplický's blob in Brno, but it’s not a library, it’s a bus stop. Its located at the public transport stop Loosova in Lesná quarter. The author is not architect Jan Kaplický, who surely was an inspiration, but a student of law Martin Felgr. Hopefully someday the "blob library" in Prague will be built.
Ahoj!

It is a must in the Czech Republic. The place is spectacular. It's good to get some fresh air and learn more about geology. The Moravian Karst is a beautiful natural monument. I visited all of his public caves and looked into many more, less well-known. Everyone has something of theirs, wonderful. I certainly have to recommend it all. I personally consider this place to be one of the most beautiful in the Czech Republic.

The heart of the romantic city The old town, listed on the World Heritage List, is, as the name suggests, the oldest part of the city and includes some of the most beautiful monuments in the city. It is a labyrinth of small cobbled streets, especially with the Jewish Quarter. It is also by its superb central place that became famous this district. Historical heart of the city, with its palaces, churches, houses of notables, it is still very popular and animated by both Prague and tourists. Do not miss this obligatory step of your stay and especially take a coffee or eat in a restaurant overlooking the square.

Walking in Mala Strana you reach the entrance to the Museum of Kafka, where the first thing you notice is the representation of two men urinating in a pool of water in the shape of the Czech Republic. Facing one another, armed of rotating basin and mobile penis, the two icons would be able, on request via sms, to urinate for you on their nation the message sent to him! Oddness czech, indeed Cerny!

"The Powder Tower: A beautiful entrance into the old town"

It is probably one of the most elaborate among the many towers of the city. Attached to the Municipal House by a small arch bridge, this old city gate, is on the border between the old city and the new city (which is not that recent!). It is also one of the most beautiful and offers a panoramic view of a part of the city. Like all the towers of Prague, it is dark in appearance. Dating from the Middle Ages, it owes its name to the fact that it served as a powder deposit much later (sixteenth or seventeenth century memory).

The beautiful Charles Bridge is one of the most visited sights in Prague. Read about its past and present. Most beautiful place to visit in prague.
