WARNING: The use of images that are not your own on which you claim the ownership will be flagged and/or reported to @steemcleaners - HELPING TO STOP PLAGIARISM ON STEEMIT

Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @libork:

Malá Strana by night. Malá Strana (Lesser Town) is one of the historic districts of Prague. It is located on the slopes below the Prague Castle on the left bank of Vltava and was founded in 13th century.

Prague is a city of diverse architecture. She also says the city of a hundred spiers. There are places from which you can really see this number. One of these places is on the Letna plain.

This is an awesome picture of the city. Great job.

We sure have a image for today's contest:)... Thank you.

Beauty of Czech landscape in spring. A yellow rapeseed field, deep coniferous forests and blue sky. I took this image when biking around the Silesian villages of Radun and Vrsovice but there are many places with scenic views like this one all over the country :)

Charles Bridge before Sunrise

One more composition of Charles Bridge from the very low point of view. I had to almost lie on the ground with my tripod with fully splitted legs. No people were around that early and even no photographers. First people started to appear in 15 minutes after I made this capture.

Love it!

This square is impressive with all its different building styles! You can see the history of Prague through its architecture. The Old Town Square should be the number 1 spot to visit on anyone's trip to Prague. Old lanes and streets, clean, with no hassle,no stray dogs or cats, lots of tourists type shops.

This is so cool.

Sunset over Žermanice water reservoir
Only about 20 km away from Šance reservoir mentioned by @czechglobalhosts in his recent post. Žermanice dam is used as water reservoir for nearby industries and for recreational purposes, water sports and fishing.

Hmm, truly stunning photo. Great job. T.

Rotunda of Saint Martin .jpg

The rotunda of St Martin is the largest and oldest preserved rotunda in Prague. It was built in the second half of the 11th century. It has escaped demolition several times in its history. During the Thirty Years’ War it was used as a gunpowder store. The cannonball embedded in the façade to the right of the window is a reminder of the Prussian rampage in 1757. The rotunda is now used for religious purposes by the Vyšehrad ecclesiastical chapter.

Beautiful scenery and a relaxed stroll along the river Ohři. svatošske skály, National Nature Monument, Karlovy Vary.
Beautiful place, a stone's throw from Karlovy Vary. Of Doubi foot or perpendicular, after a few minutes you can already admire the petrified wedding and its surroundings. Nearby is a restaurant and a campground with refreshments. Along the river you can continue to Loket.

Beautiful Czech nature.

Thank you

Faust's House, Karlovo náměstí, Nové Město, Praha 2
P1080309.JPG
The legend of Faust lives in Europe from the 16th century. Perhaps in every old Europe we will find some Faust's house ... This one is in Prague.
Beneath it is a pagan burial ground. In its foundations of the 14th century, seven cat skeletons were found. The house was in fact owned by alchemist Magister Edward Kelly in 1590, and later by the enlightenment scientist, Count Mladota. And during the bombing of Prague by the Americans in February and March 1945 all the buildings in the area were destroyed or damaged. Only this one no. Who knows ... Today there is a pharmacy.

TRDELNÍK.jpg
The Trdelnik is a traditional Czech pastry, wrapped around a cylinder, rolled in cinnamon sugar and then baked. We ate it at the Prague Christmas Market.

The Czech people know how to enjoy life's simple, beautiful moments. It's one of the reasons I like them so much. In today's photo I have an example of that as this man and his dog enjoy a nap at the base of the Krannerova kašna near the Vltava River in Prague. This fountain was built by Josef Kranner, who also did some design work on St. Vitus Cathedral in the Prague Castle.

Walking through prague city was one of the best feelings ever. I had the opportunity to tour around to see and enjoy sceneries. Charles bridge was an exception. I enjoyed "Kofola" for the first time and since then kofola has become a part of my fridge

The yard of the stable is in the heart of the historic city of Dresden. It connects the Georgenbau with Johanneum and therefore belonged to the complex of buildings of the residential palace. The factory was built by the Elector Christian I.als venue for major horse shows, making it one of the oldest of the original tournament design courses in the world. At Christmas time, a medieval Christmas market here, we would always prefer the Striezelmarkt. But otherwise, worth the detour to admire the medieval building in peace. We enjoyed it very much. Especially the wonderful arcades he made for us.

Dresden is not in the Czech republic. But in Germany, in Saxony, to be exact.

Hrad Kunětická hora..jpg

Kunětická hora Castle

The castle became very famous under the religious wars in the 15th century. It was occupied by Diviš Bořek, the recognized Hussite commander, and with the assistance of local inhabitants he built an ingenious system of fortification in a period of two years. Now it is used for events, exhibitions and any other services.

Great entry, thank you so much. Tomas

Thanks Tomas. Have a nice day. Regards

Teplicke Skaly maybe are not so famous as Adrspach Rocks, but also worth to see and there is nice walking path between those two places. I took this photo in 2012 but I guess this place still looks the same ;)

Here is a picture of the double Zeiss astrograph at the Štefánik Observatory on Petřín Hill. This 1906 piece of equipment is still in perfect working order today, or at least when I visited. The visit was conducted by astronomy students, so it was not only informative, but also a lot of fun.
You can find more details about it in my post https://steemit.com/travelfeed/@tmayd/czech-gallery-stefanik-observatory

Super nice shot!

Prague has so many interesting buildings in different styles. This building is a bit usual not only for the pink colour but also for the decorative elements used. I think it is from the beginning of the XX century and it is in art deco style. This building is located near the Josefov.

Loved learning more about Mendel and seeing in person some of his artifacts. But, most of all, I enjoyed talking a walk in the gardens he used to walk in! Especially for those who love or appreciate Genetics, or science all, this is the place to go. It is also very kid friendly and educational.

Wow, that's great. Which one are you in the picture?

Amazing theater with near perfect seating and arrangement. You are close either via box or seating. Magical place with the annex of a modern office building which also includes the main box office, represents the main stage of the three artistic ensembles of the National Theatre: the drama, opera and ballet.
Spending 150th Birthday so its amazing!

Windows of Prague cafes
I took this photo in the Charles Bridge area. Honestly, now I do not remember how the restaurant was called ... But then I could not pass by - this window insistently invited and literally promised something unusual and magical, there behind the colored glasses. This is how the window that leads to the fairy tale should look like.

Thats me Sunny, on my tree in the garden, Best view to the new neighbour, he is hot. I think a Russian Blue cat he worked at Kočkafe Freya, Prague Cat Café before.)

The American Embassy in Prague. You can see the building when you walk up the Petrin Hill. There's also quite a big garden that belongs to them. So if you are an American in Prague and lose your passport or need some other help, that's where you go. Very easy to find. It's just on the way to the Prague Castle.

The Czech Republic is one of the most beautiful countries in the world! I would like to know: more about its history, its architecture, its culture, its gastronomy...

All square is impressive with all its different building styles! You can see the history of Prague through its architecture.

But am yet to visit @czechglobalhosts sobs. I plan to though hopefully next year

I'd recommend you a slow wander around the Old Town in the morning (it can get quite busy from 11am).
Don't miss the striking of the clock - fantastic! The Old Town Square should be the number one spot to visit on anyone's trip to Prague. so you can visit here.

Beautiful view of that neighborhood street, they are very different to my city, Praga and its inhabitants are very kind. I would like to have your happiness to travel and know the world. God bless you.
