We have been traveling to Krumlov every year for about 12 years and there is always something we have never seen before. It is a beautiful historic city with endless corners that hide the treasures of our history. The only damage is the endless crowds of tourists, but the city has such a charm that it can be forgiven and worth a visit.

Divoká Šárka is a beautiful valley and nature reserve at the edge of Prague 6, so not far from the city center. You can find there total escape from the noise of the metropoly. The name means Wild Sarka, after the mythic female warrior who allegedly threw herself off one of the cliffs.

We walked over the Charles Bridge every day whilst staying in a hotel just round the corner from the bridge in the Lesser Town. The atmosphere on this bridge is amazing and it attracts large crowds to gaze upon its very imposing statues and tower. Beautiful views up the river also then complete a fab experience. A visit to Prague wouldn’t be complete without it!

A colorful picturesque beauty. Cesky Krumlov. Diamond hidden. The map does not attract attention. Nor is it internationally known for a product characteristic. In the South of Europe we grow up and study without even hearing it. And yet a visit - even brief - is enough to take its place in our memory and heart into the list of the most beautiful places that have seen our eyes in this world.

It is easy to see why the town of Cesky Krumlov is a UNESCO site! The town is at the foot of the 1240 built castle with so many picturesque buildings and squares. There is a park up in the western part of the city which gives you a spectacular view over the town and all the red tiled rooftops.

Baroque fountain with plague column, Charles' Square, New Town, Prague. From March to November 1680 the plague killed in Prague. About six thousand people died. This pillar with the statue of St. Joseph holding Jesus-child was built to thank God for ending the plague.

Old Town Square. A magical and unmissable place. One of the most beautiful squares in the world. Beautiful by day and magical by night with all the lights that create a very special atmosphere. Prague is beautiful but this square is more so.

The artwork with Franz Kafka's head consisting of 42 horizontal segments is quite awesome. The segments rotate independently of each other and it is fun to see when the face takes shape. This is one of David Cerny's famous works of art, some are scattered throughout Prague.

In Central Europe is usual to have street markets for the time of Easter. The photo shows a kiosk in a Easter Market at Old Town Square. At the background of the image you can see the magnificent Gothic towers of Church of Our Lady before Týn.

Front view of the Church of Ascension of Virgin Mary in Straznice, a little but very beautiful town found in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic. The church was built in 1747 and it is one of the dominant architectural landmarks of the town.
