This is the astronomical clock in Prague (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prague_astronomical_clock). The clock is over 600 yrs old and working. It is one of the most famous sights in Prague.

I really love The Dlouhé Stráně Hydroelectric Power Station photos taken from planes. It's located at the top of a hill and it looks marvelous:
I guess I don't need to mention that it is really unique structure, you won't meet comparable one anywhere else.

That is fantastic! Reminds me of my childhood as we used to come here a lot to our summer cottage located in Dlouhe Strane..... Then before the construction of the power station started all the properties in the close vicinity were bought out... I definitely have to go back there! Would be a fantastic cycling trip! This is the Petrin Tower. I visited Prague last Easter with my friends. The first day we went to the Petrin Tower, it was raining so we turned back. On the 2nd day, the weather was better so we climbed up the tower. The view was spectacular! But it was kinda scary as we descended the tower because the wind was strong. I was worried that i might be blown off the tower. I still remember how my legs were shaking :D

I love Petrin Tower and would definitely recommend to anybody visiting Prague.... Even though you can use the cable car to go up I prefer to walk and enjoy the fantastic views! What a fabulous day spent in Prague at Petrin Tower! Thanks ever so much for sharing! Tomas

Ahoj Tomas! I must have been Czech in another life, because so much of Bohemian culture resonates so strongly with me. Some of my favorite authors/artists are Czech.
I will never forget the first time I caught a glimpse of Prague, with the castle perched majestically on the hill. Little did I know at that moment, that a view of the castle would be a part of my daily schedule. Imagine going to school, and sitting through lectures, and right out the window is a castle. And the music! Music everywhere, at every turn. Next time I visit Praha, I'll take my brother and show him your beautiful city and country.
