WARNING: The use of images that are not your own on which you claim the ownership will be flagged and/or reported to @steemcleaners - HELPING TO STOP PLAGIARISM ON STEEMIT

Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @phortun:

View of the St. Adalbert Church and a large decorative fountain as seen from the Liberators´ Square ("Namesti Osvoboditelu" in Czech) found in the Silesian city of Opava. The fountain is an exact replica of a famous fountain from the German city of Darmstadt that was designed by the renowned Opava architect J.M. Olbrich.

Hus's pulpit (Husova Kazatelna) is a natural monument of an area of 9.07 ha near the village of Žemličkova Lhota in the district of Příbram. The main object is rocking stone named as the area where it is located. It is the largest rocking stone in the Czech Republic measuring 4 x 2.5 and a height of 2.7 meters. There are several other rocks with interesting names like Devil's stone, mushroom, or a loaf of bread.

Však jsem nedávno psal o těch Husových kazatelnách a Žižkových dubech... Tvůj, tuším včera představený, dub určitě nebyl Žižkův, podle místní pověsti?

Můj včerejší dub určitě není Žižkův, protože v době národního obrození ho teprve sázeli a tak by pod ním mohl odpočívat pouze Žižkův duch. Podle popisku pod ním odpočívali pouze zemědělci a pocestní.

Great to get something different from time to time. Have a great weekend.

Thank you for featuring my photo Tomas! Opava is a beautiful city and you are always welcome here ;)

Today, I am submitting an image of the Red Chateau, one of the chateaus of the Hradec nad Moravici Chateau Complex. Located just outside of Opava, the Hradec nad Moravici Chateau is considered one of the most beautiful chateaus in the Czech Republic. Unfortunately, as you see in this photo, some parts of the fairytale-like chateau are currently under reconstruction.

It was really foggy night at Ještěd mountain, so the top of the tower wasn't visible and it created the proof that UFO exists. I couldn't enjoy any night city landscape this time. I took this photo in 2016.

This is so cool. It really does remind me of a UFO.

Maybe it was...who knows...

I was staying in Prague last year for 5 days with my friends. Lovely city and crazy nightlife. This is panamoraic photo taken from my flat where we were staying. We were staying at Klobuchnikova street.

Lom Homolák, SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK!
The water is still great, the visitors are again unruly, some rubbish, plastic bottles and vajgles are littered in some places in the water. The deposit to the quarry has increased, some sunbathing areas and water in the water have ceased. But its looks just awesome.

My only boatcruise was in Berlin last year. It was one of the best feelings ever even though i am hydrophobic🤣.
I spotted these boats on my trip to prague at the charles bridge and the best i could do was to take this beautiful shot

Jan Palach memorial
A memorial dedicated to Jan Palach, a young student who was self-immolated in January 1969 in protest against the occupation of Soviet armies in Czechoslovakia, was inaugurated near the square bearing his name in downtown Prague. The composition of two metal statues is the work of the American sculptor of Czech origin John Hejduk.

Státní zámek Náchod.3.jpg

Nachod Castle

The castle and the city of Nachod were probably founded in the 13th century by a knight Hron from the Naceraticu family. The stronghold was built near a trade route running near the Czech – Klodzko border and it had a very important function of a fortified gate.

Nice photography. Really like the shower upfront and the building in the back ground. Breath taking view. The architecture is cool and attractive. Thanks for the contest.

Amazing contest. Sorry to say but I have nothing to share now. But verily I have to say this photo from you to start with is fabulous and outstanding. The view , the architecture and then photography is just a blast. Keep up the good work.

Your entry is missing the required description and I am afraid you will also have to prove the ownership of this image.

Absolutely!

The Rudolfinum. What a gorgeous building with such an eventful history. Having been not only a home of the arts but also a parliamentary chamber, a gym or a canteen, the Rudolfinum has served many purposes and many masters during the more than 130 years of its history.
Check the ownership of the picture in my stories "Czech me out" and "Prague" at brainsinsteadofboobies.wordpress.com

Beautiful pictures @phortun congrats on the winning 👍

Thank you Rina! :)
