    True...also in Taipei, along the river just down from the Miramax, I was walking towards the city after watching Aliens, and I stopped to talk with a friend on the phone. I stepped on the grass area, the a long green snake, slithered a super fast slither away. Had he been more aggressive, I woulda have been bitten!!
