Naawan Waterfalls Part 2

This is the second part of my post about the Naawan waterfalls. Naawan is far from Iligan and it is not a part of that wonderful City of Waterfalls. Naawan is a fourth class municipality in the province of Misamis Oriental, Philippines.

The lush terrain around Naawan. Just below here following the river downstream more waterfalls can be found.

Parallel rivers flow downstream on either sides of the mountain range.

This river further downstream will meet with the river from that of the 1st to the sixth waterfalls. But along the way my former classmate found two more waterfalls. He was certainly confident that more waterfalls can be found along the tributaries of the main rivers. He just focused on the main waterfalls along the main rivers.

He has acquired some basic skills on how to hunt for waterfalls in uncharted territories for the non-locals. Those basics skills he promised to reveal in the next new waterfalls post.

Medjas Falls

Medyas or Medjas means socks in English. Can't argue with the locals if they will tell you the names of the waterfalls. It could perhaps be on how it looks like.

Remember the long white socks worn by the NBA players during the 1980s and before that? The water flow could be like that of a sock as viewed from certain angles and distance.
