Oh ok. I live in a town in the North Island of New Zealand called Wanganui. The river here is legally recognized as a person. It needs looking after so that's why that happened. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2017/mar/16/new-zealand-river-granted-same-legal-rights-as-human-being
