STEEMIT tutorial: How to introduce yourself

Hello! My name is David and I just got accepted into this awesome community! The one thing you need to know about me: I love to travel.

I am a journalist/travel consultant/bartender hybrid at the moment in the professional realm. I have written stories for both the Seattle Times and San Francisco Examiner and have rubbed shoulders with both NFL and NBA players.

Growing up, I was always enamored with sports, especially football and basketball. Getting to cover professional sports was a dream that I achieved.

I have now realized I have other dreams. Dreams that include seeing what this crazy world has to offer, passions like talking with and learning from people that look different than me, going scuba diving, jumping out of airplanes, and stepping foot on every one of the seven continents Earth provides us. I want to meditate with monks in Tibet, trek in Iceland, take a road trip to South America, and I want to do it all with my heart and spirit open and my camera in tow.

I truly believe there is more to life than sitting in an office 40 hours a week, paying taxes, buying a house with a picket fence, getting a dog, having kids, and dying. There has to be. I'm going to find out what my future holds the only way I know how: exploration.

I am currently seeking a way to live the nomadic lifestyle, something I can admit is not for everyone. I want to earn money on the road through writing, editing, marketing while picking up random jobs as they come along.
