THE ROOM

朋友們，這次我們來到北投，台北日式溫泉的知名景點。離臺北市區只要搭乘地鐵30分鐘，馬上就可以來到這綠意盎然，方便熱鬧卻又鬧中取靜的，讓你身心靈放鬆的地方。我們幾週前去的。是的！這麼熱的夏天泡湯？傻啦，夏天才便宜嘛！反正有冷氣，就跟你夏天吃火鍋，冬天吃冰一樣，沒有問題的啦！

看看飯店房間先！這間屬於中上價位水準，不到五星，甚至勉強四星可能都不到。但也曾經輝煌，只是舊了。窗戶很大，景觀很綠，一切都可以。

When I met Steem an year ago, I feel that its logo looks so familiar and later on I realized ... it's like the logo of hot springs only without a circle underneath. Finally today I have the opportunity to connect both ... a hot spring experience on Steem blockchain!! Woohoo~~~ 

My wife and I went for a little get away weeks ago to Beitou, a suburban Taipei district famous for its hot spring dating back to the Japanese colonial times hundred year ago... You only need to take subway for around 30 minutes from downtown Taipei and you can get away from your busy city life in this place with large stripe of green woods, history, hot steamy spring and many good food! Take a look of our hotel room! This one is a slightly better than average hotel whose location is very very good. The room is quite alright... With a large window and a park-side view.

the room

Look closer... Basically, it has everything a hotel room should have. A little bit of Japanese style of course as Beitou's hot spring was developed during Japanese times.

仔細看看吧！該有的都有，略帶日式風格，但不是太重。北投溫泉就是日本殖民時期開發的。

雖然不是五星級，但服務還行。要冰塊也會送，免費的當然。窗前擺的就不是免費的囉！是我們入住前去採買的，這是住飯店的必殺技之一啊！

It's not 5-star hotel. But they bring ice to your room if you ask. Free of course. Oh, those in front of the window aren't free - we brought them here... did some shopping before we checked in!

Go Outside

或許該先到附近環境看一下，再來泡湯吧！這大廳裡擺著日本風味的裝飾，我也搞不清楚，反正蠻好看的。

Maybe I should introduce the bigger environment instead of just the room before I show you the HOT SPRING!! Let's go. The lobby with some Japanese style installation art? Looking good though...

北投公園就在對面！見過國父孫文先生了！：）

Beitou park just opposite to the hotel. Meet the man who overthrew the old empire one hundred year ago.

北投圖書館，具國際知名度的綠建築，要不是禁止在內部拍攝，我一定拍一堆照片來給大家看的。

Beitou Public Library, an internationally renown green building. Very very beautiful but they do not allow taking photos inside so I did not have any inside photos.

幾步之遙，超市，便利店，小吃店，餐廳，應有盡有，真是天堂啊！@@

One minute walk and you can have supermarkets, convenience stores and lots of great eating places... Paradise!! @@

The Soaking

準備好泡湯了嗎？想想那地底幾千公尺湧上來的火山之泉，裡頭有多少人體需要的珍貴元素？呵呵，你不能泡，只能看看過癮，下次自己來吧！

Are you ready to soak yourself in a tub of hot underground mineral H2O? Follow me... Oops! Sorry, you will have to come here to enjoy it... for now, take a look but no one is inside of course... :)
