I am traveling at the moment around the world and enjoy the life of a nomad.

Here is a small story about my personal experience in Singapore:

Hawker..

In Singpore you find hundreds of small tiny food stands. Usually they are organized around small places or along one street so you can choose from a wide variety of food types. Basically the asian version of a food court, just with healthier food. Since last summer two of the hawkers (as they are called here in local slang) got famous and were awarded with a Michelin star. Yesterday on my stroll I passed one of them. Already from far away you could see a long queue of people trying to get into that place. Waiting time around one hour in the boiling sun, well that’s not my cup of tea. So I continued my walk, circled back to the place in the afternoon and within 20 minutes I had my food. Vegetables in oyster sauce and soya sauce chicken and pork. Actually that’s the only food on the menu. And it is really delicious! For good reason they call it the “cheapest Michelin starred meal”, I paid 11,‐ Singapore dollars ‐> 7,21 EUR
