The most colorful town I have ever visited. (Guatapé, Colombia)

I heard someone once say that looking at the photos of your travels is kind of like re-living the moments you had during that time. And, even though looking at these photos reminds me of some amazing memories, there is nothing like actually experiencing life in full color and with all five senses active.

Last year was an amazing year for Danny and I. We were able to travel for about 8 months out of the year and we visited many countries in Central and South America. The most colorful town we visited was definitely Guatapé, Colombia. This place has a very special charm, and it is not only because of the amount of color that covers its walls, but also because of one of the most amazing panoramic views I have ever seen.

There is a HUGE rock that you can actually climb to the top to get some photos. I have to admit, heights are not my favorite thing (when I am not flying my drone) and physically climbing all these stairs while looking down was a bit of a struggle. With Danny´s encouragement and knowing I would get some cool pictures from the top (and a cold beer), I went up step by step until we made it to the top, 740 steps up.

A giant Zig Zag

Do you see that giant rock on the left of the photo? That zig zag is the stair case that take you to the top!

What a view, right?

If you ever visit Colombia, you have to check this place out. Completely worth it.

Peace.

UPVOTED!

Wow! What a fabulous place! I have never ever seen these stairs before on any other picture. Thanks for introducing me to the .... well .... particular architecture.

You seem to like travelling in hot places. Would you dare this?

It is such an amazing place. I honestly had no idea it existed.
