🎬 Travelling to the Carpathians. We started!

in travel •  6 years ago  (edited)

Dear Steemians,

We came back from vacation, but our hearts and souls stayed for a long time in the Ukrainian Carpathians, breathed in the fresh mountain air and admired the prone palms of the Earth.

The immeasurable Joy and the myriad of photo and video material - that's the reason for which we went on this journey. And, no doubt, we have got both!

The source of Immeasurable Joy was our long-time Friends and this magical place- Subcarpathia - in which we all decided to meet after a long severed with each other!

Bought specially for this trip the Nikon W300 did a great job! And, actually, helped us to collect that crowd of excellent visual material!

All impressions, types and images can not fit into one article!

And we are delighted with this post to start a small series of articles about our ten-day Journey to the Carpathian region.

And here is the beginning of our journey.

Away from wild people, closer to the cozy mountains)

On the video below there is the bridge railway cross the Dnieper river through the biggest river Island in the Europe - Khortitsa Island. You can see the dam of hydroelectric power station DneproHPP.

And on the next video, we leave the big island on the right bank of the Dnieper River in the city of Zaporozhye. There, in the distance, you can see how the river shares by the the small companion of Khortitsa Island, the Baida Island.

And some mix of around picturesque for you to enjoy!

Very nice videos. It is so nice to travel by train. You get to see lots of countryside up close.

Yes, you are right! The dark side is that we spent in the train more than 20 hrs. - Ukraine is a very big country! But these picturesque countrysides definitely worth it! Thank you for your attention @steven-patrick!

Заинтриговал:) Жду продолжения

Непременно будет!

I used to travel by train as a child quite a lot, and I loved it!
