This is an amazing place. BUT it is way over priced for what it is. They charge 10 times the local rate for entrance. I understand that they have an up charge but out of all the places my and my girlfriend (she is thai) have been this is the highest up charge out of all attractions in Chiangmai, Bangkok, Phuket. This does not mean its not worth it. I believe it is still an amazing attraction and you should see it but i think you need to go right when they open to avoid crowds. Also i suggest you getting a motorbike and going yourself. there is a park around there called Panombenja national park and the waterfall there is amazing and super cheap entrance fee!
