I love to see those cities with lots of trees and green life. Most cities have removed the beauty of nature and replace it with synthetic everything. From what I see, Fuzhou still balance the skyscrapers building with lots of nature's scene.

Thank you floridanow. Many older apartments are replaced by newer ones and there is a newly built subway system and more parks and flowers too. Only the sky isn't so clear, other than that the living standards seem improved

Wow, Fuzhou City is very beautiful, although you take photos in the car.
And I see many buildings that stand gracefully, and the surrounding is very friendly.
Moreover, potrtait "Entrance from the highway" is very beautiful when viewed from afar.

Thank you pardeepkumar. They are developing the city really fast . Older buildings are rebuilt into higher ones alowing more space for green and flowers

Dark clouds seems nearly rain come. My dreamy country is China and amazing creations by Chinese. China has various looks for buildings. They have own style and architecture. Beautiful photography @djohan.

China is indeed a great and an amazing city which is richly endowed with a very organised structure. This depicts that its a well developed country due to the fact that besides its main city shanghai..these other cities like Fuzhou city are well developed as well.

I wish to visit this city in future.

Most people haven’t heard of Fuzhou, but why would you? After all it’s only a city of some 6 million people! Fuzhou is a ‘small’ Chinese city, and capital of Fujian province. It’s a fascinating, sometimes crazy, mix of old and new. Walking around you get to see both the ancient history of the city as a trading port, the marks of 20th century China and finally the rise of China as a global power, with glass and steel skyscrapers popping up and if that’s too much, it’s easy to find a quiet place. It’s coastal, surrounding by mountains and in 2014 was ranked 7th in china for air quality. It is really great place. Nice photography dear.

Wow!Excellent photography.You are really creative photographer. Please stay with photography. how the beautiful natural view is! Very color full also. this place is good to traveler.
Fuzhou’s nightlife improves year on year. There’s a wide selection of bars, including a popular stretch called Shao Yuan that has everything from riverfront cafe bars to cocktail bars, to specialist beer places. There’s something for everyone.

Elsewhere there’a a raft of clubs and other late night options including the infamous Honey Bar and a smattering of late night KTVs for when you need to karaoke along to Adele at 3am.

Very interesting photo. This city is probably a millionaire, although in China probably there are no small towns with a small population number :)

Located in the lower reaches of the Min River, Fuzhou is the capital city of Fujian Province. Situated in the eastern part of Fujian, it serves as the economy, politics, culture and transport center of the province. It is so named after a mountain situated in the north called Mt. Fu. Additionally, many banyans were planted in the Song Dynasty (960-1279), and now provide shade for the entire city giving it another name - Rong Cheng (Banyan City). This city is both a historic and a cultural city with an over two-thousand year of history and in 908, it was expanded. This expansion included Mt. Yu, Mt. Wu and Mt. Ping within its jurisdiction. The city is also prosperous in culture, from the Tang (618-907) through to the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911); there were thousands of Jinshi (a successful candidate in the highest imperial examinations) from the city. Many celebrated figures from Chinese history also hailed from this land, and thus, the birth of heroes also brings glory to such a place.
