We spent almost a whole day exploring. The place is quite large with a lot of things to see. Entry to the museums and all traditional houses were free as it was national holiday in China

Thank you for viewing. Please come back for part 2

Thank you bitcoinman. I really like the gif function of the phone. It is a good way to capture travel moments

I like it...perfect photos. Yes....I did note the KFC and Starbucks. They have not escaped the reach of the western corporate franchises.

Thank you floridanow. Yes the Chinese like to consume western products too especially german cars

Looks very nice and good to see something historic!

Thank you emilymichelle. Yes it was very nicely preserved place

San fang qi xiang. Fuzhou, it turns out there built traditional Chinese society is still well maintained, and functioned as a place many destinations visited. And I saw the fast food shop KFC, a very unique shop. In contrast to other more modern.
Have a good vacation.
Have a nice day :)

Thank you amuchtar. This was the rich neighborhood during imperial China. It's good they decided to preserve for the next generations to see

Yes, right. the place is very special, and can be said as a supporter of the country's economy and also the cultural arts tourism destination of China.
Looks like you will spend a long time there ?. Lol, :)

Indeed the saying Old is Gold is true. These appear to be very great and strong buildings that have long lived over the years. Great exploration friend @djohan. Your eyes were really entertained with the great sight of all these endowments of fuzhou.

Thank you yohan2on. Yes it is good to preserve some traditional buildings for the next generation to see

@djohan,
Wow friend an old town (a traditional town) but looks very comfortable area to live! Pretty cool collection of photography and this is a great experience of course!

Cheers~

Awesome view. I haven't seen this side of China, just the apartment areas.

Thank you kevbot. Most old houses have been destroyed to build apartments. This suburb was like Beverly Hills of imperial China so they decided preserve it

Thanks

Thank you pardeepkumar. Will post more soon

wow that gif on that EPICC top view full of grey rooftop classics!

Thank you spikykevin. There is also food court on that building with the view of rooftop

It seems like it would be rather noisy living on the street since the walls don't look like they have much insulation. Still, if there aren't any cars, then it probably wouldn't be too bad.

I think it's funny to see restaurants like KFC and Starbucks in traditional-style buildings. It's part of blending in and keeping that aesthetic though. That's cool you were able to get in for free!

Thank you themanwithnoname. Yes there is not much insulation in the old house. But the winter is mild and there were no cars. Yes it's nice to get free entry and the highway was free too

Wow, national holiday and entry was free? Wish this can happen inbny own country. During public holidays here , everything gets hiked because they know that lots of people would be coming around.

The place is quite beautiful and is indeed a tourist site.

Cantbwait for part Two. Wana see what the museum looks like.

Fuzhou is a familiar city for me. The Russian name can be translated as "Blessed." Many scientists came here to live and work. Among them were Zhu Xi, the most revered Chinese philosopher after Confucius, and Xin Qi Ji. You have very beautiful photos, there really is something to see. Thanks for sharing @djohan
