Terracotta Warriors and Horses

Hi Steemit

This is the most visited place in Xi An. The Terracotta Warriors and Horses or the official name is Emperor Qin Mausoleum Site Museum. It was burried under the ground since around 200 BC and has been recently found in the 20th century by a farmer digging a well

There are 3 sites in total. This one is number 1 and also the biggest

Some parts of the site have not been dug out as they need to be really careful to dig this 2 thousand plus years warriors

There are lots of people especially at the front part trying to take photos

We have to walk through a park before reaching the main 3 buildings from the entrance

I remember watching a documentary about them, its crazy becouse they are not all the same each statue is of a different soldier

Thank you bitcoinman. Yes each one was handmade so it is all different. Some have been broken during digging unfortunately, but it's really amazing to have these made over 2000 years ago

Wow. Amazing, the statue of the tarracotta soldier was indeed true, the statue buried for 200 sm, I think only in a jet li movie, :) it turns out there. I am amazed to see the photo you uploaded, it turns out china save a lot of history, oldest world.

Amazing to view the real museum consist of 200 BC old. Great Discovery of 20 the century. Preservation of warriors is great. Your photography skill is excellent
