Of course, I have already written about Palolem beach before. Still, this beach is so good that it is worth coming back here again. Which is what we did. Although I like Agonda better. Oops, spoiler!
First of all, Palolem beach is good because there are almost no waves. Paradise for children! Although in this regard, Mandrem is also well suited for families with children, thanks to its quiet backwaters, the estuary. The configuration of the bay in Palolem is such that the water on the beach is protected from the effects of winds and such a quiet zone of calm water has turned out. This is a rather atypical phenomenon for the beaches of Goa. Most often, waves of the open Arabian Sea await you, and in some places rather unpleasant undercurrents. It is not always possible to comfortably swim and swim. Stupidly fighting the waves, especially at the end of April, brrr.
On Palolem Beach, you can go into calm water and swing on calm water with a minimum of waves. And the water is clear here! It is worth coming at least once from the beaches of North Goa in order to feel the difference. We met compatriots who themselves came here by taxi. They were wildly delighted with the water in the sea, but grumbled that the prices for food here are high. But on Mandrem, Ashvem and Arambol, prices are also raised, so we didn’t feel much difference.
And secondly, Palolem is beautiful with its many tightly packed, multi-colored bungalows, many of them even have 2 levels. Exotic 100%, cool background for photos.
We were taken to a restaurant on the beach. They are all more or less decent and the prices plus or minus the same. Tables on the beach overlooking the sea - it's super! You can put your feet in the warm sand and enjoy the food and the beautiful views at the same time. To the sound of the surf!

Natürlich habe ich schon vorher über den Strand von Palolem geschrieben. Trotzdem ist dieser Strand so gut, dass es sich lohnt, wieder hierher zu kommen. Das haben wir getan. Obwohl mir Agonda besser gefällt. Ups, Spoiler!
Zunächst einmal ist der Strand von Palolem gut, weil es fast keine Wellen gibt. Paradies für Kinder! Allerdings ist Mandrem in dieser Hinsicht auch gut für Familien mit Kindern geeignet, dank seines ruhigen Achterwassers, der Mündung. Die Konfiguration der Bucht in Palolem ist so, dass das Wasser am Strand vor den Auswirkungen von Winden geschützt ist und sich eine solche ruhige Zone mit ruhigem Wasser herausgestellt hat. Dies ist ein eher untypisches Phänomen für die Strände von Goa. Meistens erwarten Sie Wellen des offenen Arabischen Meeres und an einigen Stellen ziemlich unangenehme Unterströmungen. Es ist nicht immer möglich, bequem zu schwimmen und zu schwimmen. Dummerweise gegen die Wellen ankämpfen, besonders Ende April, brrr.
Am Strand von Palolem können Sie in ruhiges Wasser gehen und auf ruhigem Wasser mit einem Minimum an Wellen schwingen. Und das Wasser ist hier klar! Es lohnt sich, mindestens einmal von den Stränden Nord-Goas zu kommen, um den Unterschied zu spüren. Wir haben Landsleute getroffen, die selbst mit dem Taxi hierher gekommen sind. Sie freuten sich riesig über das Wasser im Meer, bemängelten aber, dass die Preise für Lebensmittel hier hoch sind. Aber auf Mandrem, Ashvem und Arambol werden die Preise ebenfalls angehoben, sodass wir keinen großen Unterschied spüren.
Und zweitens ist Palolem wunderschön mit seinen vielen dicht gedrängten, bunten Bungalows, viele davon sogar 2-stöckig. Exotisch 100%, cooler Hintergrund für Fotos.
Wir wurden in ein Restaurant am Strand gebracht. Sie sind alle mehr oder weniger anständig und die Preise plus oder minus gleich. Tische am Strand mit Blick aufs Meer - super! Sie können Ihre Füße in den warmen Sand stecken und gleichzeitig das Essen und die schöne Aussicht genießen. Zum Rauschen der Brandung!
