My love letter to the Pacific Ocean

Vancouver is a beautiful city that deserves to be discovered and rediscovered anew every day. It's no wonder that it is so ridiculously expensive since you get the best of both worlds, the upbeat tempo of the cosmopolitan city and the force that Nature represents surrounding you.

Believe me, I am grateful every day how blessed I am to breath in the delicious marine breeze except when I bike around false creek when I am reminded the mushroom type growth is backing up our sewers. Small price to pay to be in the only city in Canada where I can bike all year round.

The Pacific is a fearsome creature on a good day and when the wind rises, you can feel the beast is awakening. Something has to be wrong with whoever fails to feel the awe deep within their gut. The waves we crawled out of Aeons ago and to the waves we will crawl back when the prophetic bell rings.

I think this is the best city to live in the whole wide world, I just wish I could afford it. The people here are a little bit shy but then again: Pfff people, completely overrated. I will choose nature over people every time. The ocean is a friend I do not fear to one day loose.

Great photos ◕‿◕. I love oceans.

Thank you so much!! I try :)

I choose nature too! I lived on the ocean for 11 years. I should have known, once the ocean gets in your lungs and inspires, there's no living without it, not without thinking about it all the time. I even dream about it!
