  • They built it representing Myanmar (Burma) Independence from the British in 1948..
  • It's in the Mahavandula Park near the Sule Pagoda, You can worship, see the Pagoda and You can see the street sellers & you can curious about their lifestyles..
  • The monument is amazingly perfect surrounding with the Church, The City hall, Some Hotels and Pagoda and Colonial buildings.. .!
