Haha, that's awesome. I've always wanted to learn French but never got around to it! At least I've got some in the bank ready to make a start.

Are there any other groups of words in English that can be altered like this? It would be nice to get as many words as possible with the least effort!

Hey @dipesh213 Thanks for your comment.

I know that there are a definitely a few other groups of words that can be transformed into the French equivalent with minimal work, but this is definitely the easiest group with the most words.

Perhaps I'll write another guide like this in the near future and give you another boost if you finally decide to commit to learning!

A bientot!

Thank you very much! I took several years of French in high school and college and learned a lot of things, but not this one. Now I know.

Please continue to give us profound but simple explanations like this. That give me an idea; maybe I'll share one that's been meaningful to me my whole life. Hope you don't mind if I steal your idea.

Hi @dwkehl I'm glad that you considered this to be profound!

By all means go for it, there's a lot of knowledge hidden away because we think that other people already know it.

Share it with the world & help them grow :)
