HAUNTED ISLAND

If you are the ones who are afraid of nothing, you must venture to this tourist destination of MÉXICO; located in the capital city of MÉXICO, specifically in the already famous lake of XOCHIMILCO (I will speak in another post more in detail). the so-called ISLAND OF THE DOLLS.

THE ORIGIN
Legend has it that inhabitant JULIAN SANTANA, who was the one who lived in that place, was persecuted by the spirit of a girl who had died many years ago because she had drowned in a place of the lake that was close to his porperty.

Cuenta la leyenda que su antiguo habitante JULIAN SANTANA, quien era el que vivía en ese lugar era perseguido por el espíritu de una niña que había fallecido muchos años atrás debido a que se había ahogado en un punto del lago que estaba cerca de su propiedad.

Lo que lo hace verdaderamente de miedo es que para ahuyentar al espíritu JULIAN recogía muchas muñecas que encontraba en la basura y las colocaba en arboles, rejas, paredes, puertas. Años después no sirvió de mucho ya que JULIAN SANTANA moriría ahogado en el mismo lugar el cual falleció la niña.

Nowadays you can make tours in the day and at night and to get to place of the lake you have to start from the pier of CUEMANCO in one of the so-called TRAJINERAS.
you can camp in the same place, take pictures while you do the tour and so live your own experience, the ticket is really cheap, so don´t forget to visit the island of the dolls in XOCHIMILCO

Actualmente se pueden hacer recorridos turísticos en el día y en la noche y para llegar a ese lugar de el lago se tiene que partir del embarcadero de CUEMANCO en una de las llamadas TRAJINERAS. Se puede acampar en el mismo sitio, así como tomar fotografías mientras haces el recorrido y así vivir tu propia experiencia, el boleto es realmente barato.
Así que no olvides visitar LA ISLA DE LAS MUÑECAS en XOCHIMILCO si es que te atreves.
