The Un-Benguet-able La Trinidad!

in travel •  7 years ago  (edited)

La Trinidad has always been one of my favorite places to visit. It is located 16°28′N 120°35′E at the central part of Benguet Philippines. The place is generally mountainous and has a very cool climate with temperature ranging from 11.7 °C (53.1 °F) during the month of December and 23.2 °C (73.8 °F) during March, April and May. The municipality is popularly known for its vegetable and strawberry plantations which I was very lucky to visit.

Here's a picture of me picking strawberries. For only 450.00 pesos you can already have 1 kilo of strawberries.

They also have plenty of flowers which are very pleasant to the eyes. I don't usually see those flowers in our backyard or in any places where I live so I was really stunned to see that those flowers even exist.

As we go along our trip, we found a very spectacular attraction somewhere in the main road of La Trinidad. This amazing masterpiece is compose of houses built on the hillside of Barangay Balili. The attraction is called "Valley of Colors" which is inspired by the favela paintings in Brazil. Isn't it lovely?
