Take Me To The Beach ...

I don't care whether ...

it's wet...

windy and chilly there right now...

just take me to the beach ...

for I miss that sea scent that clings to my cheek

kissed by the damp in the shore ..

and the feel of my boots

sinking in the soft, wet sand of that wide spread shore ...

most of all ...

my kite asks to once again,

let her feel the bosom of it's lover ...

the mighty blowing wind

Take me to the beach ..

Have you ever been to any of the beaches in The Netherlands? Which one? If you have been to any of them, then you know this is a common sight.

Unfortunately, in summer, that wide spread shore is not as clean as what it looks like here. It's filled with cottages and half naked bodies enjoying the beautiful spectacle of blue in front of them.

Many years ago, I still remember watching the sun setting and there were just thin and almost flat shells that trashed this wide spread shore. These days, it's not like that .. despite that those "OC" labeled trashcans exist there many people still leave their trash on the shore.

The scariest of them isn't the broken glass from beers - it's plastic!

You, you know what it's like swimming in murky waters with low RC - so power yourself up.. I mean .. think about how any fish and sea creatures might suffocate from the plastic and any other trash you've left behind or worse ... have thrown in the water.

Longing for the summer already? Love the beach as well. Scheveningen, Katwijk, Noordwijk, Zandvoort, Groet etc. seen them all.

Wonderful nature is always being spoilt by the human population. great photos and poem. I think there should be strict laws which prevent people from polluting the area.
