The Holy Cross of Simon-Volom hermitage pt.4

The next two villages were not so far away...or we already adapted to such long distances. In the village of Pokrovka, there is nothing left from the houses.

But, as has become customary, there is one good house of hunters. The door in it is made in a window.

Inside, even more than in previous homes of products. The dry ration is suspended on the ceiling, so that it does not dampen and rodents do not reach.

Also there are excellent places for rest, on which this time we ourselves lay and rested before a long way back.

A little more passed and the last village of Zimnyak appeared before us. All villages are on the banks of the Kichmenga River.

In Zimnyak, someone lives exactly! This is the best house that we came across.

Then we did not dare go - suddenly someone is in the house! Although there was no sign of a person at all. Yes, and we have seen enough of the houses of hunters.

The remaining houses are very few, given that hunting houses need to be heated.

Somewhere in the forest an owl is singing, there is a rustle from the beaver dam in Kichmenga river...

High in the sky a falcon flies in search of prey...but legs do not carry at all. As if only we did not become by someone's prey!

Next to each village, there are such towers for hunting the bear.

And in front of the tower there is a plowed field - there are a lot of bears!

The way back was much faster - we knew the way back, knew all the obstacles and how to get around them. The time spent on the back pedestrian way was faster by an hour than the first way.
But it was much harder because of physical fatigue. Reserves of water were running out, most of it was left in the car. The weather was also played out by the middle of the day and it became very hot.

We got to the car in almost two hours. Immediately we began to quench our thirst and rest in the shade. The legs hurt, that already hurt to walk.
Overcome the dangerous area again more confidently. The main task was to get out on the stoves and then nothing is scary.

We reached the wooden bridge and began to rest for a long time, to discuss the hard way and what was seen in the abandoned villages.

After such a hike and such a trip it seems that nowhere else will want to go, but that's not it! The first two days we rejoiced the city and civilization, but travel is the most powerful drug and already in the middle of the week there was an irresistible desire to start off again, towards adventures in the wild!

Probably, at some subconscious level, wildlife attracts us, forcing us to return to the roots.

P.s: We did not get to just one village that was on the other bank of the Kichmenga River. The most vivid impressions were left from the path itself, rather than from the places we visited. But this is absolutely two different sensations, which can not be compared.
