Travel notes about Sukhonsky tract. Matveevo

in travel •  5 years ago

I have not traveled along the Sukhonsky tract only in the spring, in the rest of the seasons I was already in almost all settlements. Let me remind you: the Sukhonsky tract is an ancient path that runs along the Sukhona River, connecting settlements.

Travel notes are short photo sketches, moments taken out of the main context. The trip was for work, for my new job, when I was traveling from a completely different point to get to these places. Now this places are a little further.

Matveevo is a village in the Nyuksensky district of the Vologda region. It is part of the Nyuksensky rural settlement. The distance to the district center of the village of Nyuksenitsa by road is 42 km.

The village stands on the banks of the Sukhona River, near an asphalt road. About 200 inhabitants live in Matveevo.

There is a post office.

There is a village club.

The club has a gym where locals of all ages go to work out.

In such places you do not need to hunt for the rural atmosphere - she will find you here herself. In Matveevo everything is saturated with comfort and kindness.

Coming here, you get into the past... but it is a pleasant feeling!

Russia is a country of different time periods occurring at the same time. The farther from a district or regional center, the farther into the past. And the number of kilometers in depth will be equal to those years for which you are going back.

I agree that this is not a straightforward and simple formula. When calculating, you need to take into account many variables: the presence of a large road nearby, transport accessibility, the availability of cellular communications, the region.

But, for example, direct equality is quite working in Matveevo: 42 km to the district center equals getting into the past 42 years ago.

I have been here more than once, but each time the photo was not obtained for various reasons.

This time, Matveyevo remained in my archive...and in my heart.
