Mangrove Jungle In The Negeri Sembilan Peninsula Malaysia

Many consider the Mangrove ugly, muddy, and smelly, but it is a Treasure in disguise. Out of the mangroves come huge amounts of carbon, community resources, needed products like wood, wood pulp, charcoal and many other products and  jobs. What a hidden treasure!

We have beautiful mangroves here in Belize, too. Unfortunately a lot of people want to cut them down and fill in those areas with fill and sand. It's a shame because the mangroves are important nurseries for baby aquatic animals, safe hiding places, food, and habitat for a number of animals, and they also protect the inland from bad storms.
