The Holy City Of Jerusalem In Israel

There is no other city more Holy than Jerusalem. It is considered Holy to the world's three largest religions, Jews, Christians, and Muslims. The Ancient City is side by side the modern city of Jerusalem. What a privilege to walk her ancient cobblestone streets.

Israel Is A Land Of Ancient Ruins And Ancient Secrets

No matter where you go, the ancient ruins are everywhere. As the digs increase throughout the region, ancient history comes to life.

The open markets are filled with delightful fresh foods, fruits, vegetables, herbs, and juices. The traditional market places, and cobblestone alleys, have been there for centuries. The deserts are green and blooming, filled with dates, figs, and other fruit trees. All these make their way into the ancient markets of the Old City.

The partial remains of the ancient walls of the walled city are everywhere, as are the gates going out from the city. The Eastern Gate remains sealed until the day that the Messiah returns to Jerusalem  through this gate.  On the other side of the gate is a Muslim Cemetery.

These are a few of the marvelous scenes from the city of Jerusalem. An ancient city where you can walk in the footsteps of the prophets of old.  This is a land where the ancient is cherished and remembered, while the modern is also important. Many scientific and medical discoveries come out of Israel.

carry on...

I spent almost a year living in Israel and visited Jerusalem many times. It is an amazing city for anyone that is not Palestinian. I had a private meeting with the Prime Minister (Olmert) on one visit I and I was taken on a private tour of the old city. When customs saw the photos of me and their PM in my bag they detained me for hours - they wanted to know what i was doing with the PM. Security is through the roof in Israel, it is very much a police state.

The Jews will open the East gate for the antichrist, they killed the messiah 2,000 years ago. Jerusalem will be the center of the antichrists one world government. We can see all of the pieces falling into place eg Trump naming Jerusalem as the capital, Jews occupying Palestine etc. I'm not trying to be controversial, just sharing the truth.

Thanks for sharing your experiences.

Can’t wait to take my som there. Thank you for sharing it with us :)

Deuteronomio 7:13. Bendiciones...

Beautiful pictures of this beautiful city. I have been there 3 times and you can feel it's a divided city. I hope that one day Israelis and Palestinians can really make peace, but I'm afraid it will take a long long time.

one of my dream place to go! I am staying and working here in Saudi Arabia, a stamp on my passport of Israel sounds impossible.

Nice city

Amazing view, thats most beautifull place on earth.

Jrusalem is one of Israel's most populous city, and its population continues to grow rapidly thanks to a high birth rate and the arrival of new immigrants, many of them from the former Soviet republics. Since 1986, the city's population has grown by 28 percent, with peripheral neighborhoods, such as Manchat and Pisgat Ze'ev, recording the greatest increases. At the end of 1996, Jerusalem's population was 602,100, and it is expected to reach 650,000 by 2000.

As of 1996, Jews accounted for 70 percent of the city's inhabitants, with Arabs making up the rest. Of the city's Arabs, 92 percent were Muslim and eight percent Christian. Because of Jerusalem's large non-Jewish and Orthodox Jewish populations—both of which tend to have large families—young people account for an unusually large percentage of the city's population: in 1996, 44 percent of the population was aged zero to 19 (including 13 percent aged zero to four) while only eight percent were senior citizens.

Thanks for share photos of Jrusalem tour
