Bamboo Jungles Filled With Beautiful Exotic Flora

The Bamboo Forests of Thailand are some of the fastest growing forests in the world. Bamboo is not the only specie, but it's beautiful stalks and vines spread fast in the forest habitat, surely they are one of one the most important specie in this dense forest. This unique forest is filled with many different types of flora, so color abounds throughout. Even the bamboo itself blooms, though only once every 10 to 120 years, depending on the specie.

Many of us think of Bamboo as one specie, but world wide there are over 1,200 different and unique species of this amazing plant. In Thailand alone, there are over 40 different species of this forest pioneer. There is even one specie of Bamboo that grows over 39 inches in a 24 hour day. Now that is amazing.

 Wild Tigers Of Thailand

Up till now, there were only a total of 350 known Indochinese Tigers living in the world. So it is being declared a miracle that 4 females and 6 cubs, all  Indochinese Tigers, have been discovered in the Eastern Jungle of Thailand. This discovery was made with hidden cameras in the Bamboo Forest of Eastern Thailand. These beautiful ultra rare Tigers are greatly protected in Thailand, and this discovery is bringing hope to the countries conservation and protection programs.

There are many trekking tours and eco-friendly tours in Thailand. If you love the beautiful bamboo forests,  why not join with others who desire to trek these spectacular and magnificent forests. These forests are teaming with life, of every kind.  Enjoy discovering Thailand, with a trekking adventure filled with unique flora and animals of many kinds.
