That time in Iceland...

Two years ago I lived in Iceland one of the most beautiful days of my life!

When we came back from a very long day of excursions, while we were cooking at dinner with our brother, we were distracted by flashes.

We run outside and it was she, the queen of the night, the northern lights.

Siamo rimasti increduli e stupefatti.

We were incredulous and amazed. Our little house was immersed in nothingness, the snow-capped mountains in the background and the northern lights to illuminate a fantastic Icelandic night.

We returned home two hours later, the green of the northern lights still illuminated our small kitchen, accompanying us during the preparation of one of the most exciting burgers ever eaten.

We saw it other times in the following days, but that first time was something special.

Iceland is such an amazing place, isn't it? I visited Reykjavik about 20 years ago now - amazing place that I'd love to visit again!
