Hello friends of steemit, today I bring you some photos of my visit to Rome, the photos correspond to the Roman Forum and the
Coliseum that represent the largest sample of the greatness of the Roman Empire that can be seen today.
The public and religious life of ancient Rome developed in the Forum.
At the end of the Empire, the Roman Forum was forgotten and little by little buried and although in the sixteenth century
knew the existence and location of the Forum, it was in the twentieth century when excavations were made that uncovered the current wonder of this area.
In the center of the image is the Phocas column, built in 608 AD. In honor of the Byzantine emperor, this 13-meter-high column is one of the few that remain standing since it was erected.
In the center of the image is the arch of Severo Septimo, erected in the year 203 AD. to commemorate Severo Septimo's third anniversary as emperor.

Basilica of Maxentius and Constantine, although largely demolished, its size suggests that it was one of the most important buildings of the Roman Forum
In this photo on the right is the temple of Antoninus and Justina (they were rehabilitating its facade). Built in the second century, the temple of Antoninus and Faustina stands out as the best preserved temple of the Roman Forum.
The building on the left is the Curia. Here the Senate met to make administrative decisions and on the government of Rome.
