PINKY & FLAMINGIRL ; two days in the HOTEL BALNEARI PRATS (SPAIN) !!! "A healthy mind in a healthy body"

Hi Stemmians!

Today, I want to present you this amazing hotel spa in Spain !
I spent two days in this hotel to relax and I will tell you about my experience.

Here is "Pinky", my loyal associate XD !

The Balneari Prats is located in Caldes de Malavella (spain), a famous village for its thermal waters. It's an ancient town, at only one hour from Barcelona and 15 minutes from Girona.

"A healthy mind in a healthy body", it's a theme of this stay!
The idea is to take care of yourself and make a parenthesis of pure relaxation. This place is just perfect for that! The environment is calm. At this period, the clients average age is around 70 years old xD. This is not the place where I would find my soul mate ... but it's an excellent spot to read a good book outside.

Day 1 :

Upon arrival, I let my luggage in my room. It was clean, spacious and well appointed with a superb jacuzzi inside ... in one word; perfect !!!

I couldn't wait for the night! But before, I went for a walk in the village and drank a tea in the Vichy Catalan center which is 1 km from the hotel. The architecture and beauty of this place will not leave you indifferent!

After my tea, I went back to the hotel, put on my swimsuit and took a dip in the pool...

This pool is really fantastic!

It was a nightfall, the moonlight was starting to illuminate the garden. It was time for shower and dinner.

The hotel's restaurant offers a daily menu.

Here is what I have chosen. I told the waitress I do not eat lactose nor gluten. It wasn't a problem, she asked to the chief to replace the puree with vegetables. I was so happy!

A good white wine was the perfect combination with the seafood dish. This one is Catalan, is delicious. A little sparkling and fruity.

For dessert, I choose a homemade fresh fruit salad.

After dinner, I went up to the room to enjoy the jacuzzi. It was really an amazing time. This is what we needed "Pinky" and I.
I went to the conclusion the best logistic move was to put a little music of calm ambiance and some candles for a pure relaxation moment...

Day 2:

10:30 AM, after a very good night, I went to the breakfast buffet.

It was very diverse and I could even eat a gluten-free bread !!! Toasted bread ... sweet Jesus !!!

11h30 AM, it was time for my shiatsu massage. I loved this massage of Japanese origin. It's an energetic, physical and mental regulatory treatment. The body meridians are worked in order to restore balance to the body.

I'm now in the reception, ending the writting of these lines, it's time to go home !!!
