We have something similar in Maui, Hawaii were fruit vendors have fruits stands on the side of the famous road to "Hana". Customer just leave money and take what they want. Vendors don't even ask for specific amount, it is all trust system or give what you can afford. It's a great way to show our "Aloha" sprit.
