Falling in love with Ubud

Ubud is one of the most visited towns on the island of Bali. It was by far our favourite place out of all the places we visited in Bali. Moreover, ubud is cheaper compared to places like Seminyak or Sanur in terms of accommodation.

One great thing about Bali is the affordability- You can even find rooms to rent for $35 for 2 people a night and it includes breakfast.

Cheap foods- Ubud has a lot of cheap quality foods. If you are traveling on a low budget. There are so many 'warungs' (cheap indonesian restaurants) where you can order and eat delicious foods. When we go there few months ago, we usually spend 500,000rp together, including drinks and desserts. That's about $36.80.

Monkey Forest- At 50,000rp for the entrance fee, the park offers good value for my money. It is very organised and you don't have to be scared with the monkeys as long as you follow their rules which are very clear and you can see while strolling around the park. The monkeys are very adorable but You should watch your stuff because they're little thiefs!

Elephant Cave- If you're a huge fan of Indiana Jones Movies, I think you'll love this place. The entrance fee is only 15,000rp and wearing a sarong and waist sash is a must.

Ubud Palace- it's a wonderful place to watch Balinese Dance show including Legong and Barong dance. It is definitely a must see even if you are traveling on a low budget. The entrance fee is only 100,000rp or $7.36. The show is about 1 hour and a half,but I enjoyed it immensely!
