Hafslo Village, Norway

in travel •  6 years ago  (edited)

Norway has it figured out-
And it might just be the best run country in the world.
From free education to free health care,
to one of the highest minimum wages in the world (appox. $27ph),
to the cleanest streets and environment I've seen, I can see why Norwegians to me are the happiest people living on this rock.

About a 5 1/2 hour drive North-West of Oslo city, Hafslo Village is 100% worth the trip out. Although hiring a car car sometimes be the more expensive option, it is no doubt the best way to see this beautiful county, with every bend and stop another ridiculous sight.

Many nice walks around the village can keep you occupied for days

Some of the freshest air you can breathe in the world.
But remember to rug-up because the temperature gets as low as -30 degrees (celsius) in winter

An Airbnb (pictured below) located just off this frozen lake cost us about $40 AUD per night for a whole home

Still to this day my favourite place I've visited

You have a minor misspelling in the following sentence:

But remeber to rug-up because the temperature gets as low as -30 degrees (celsius) in winter.
It should be remember instead of remeber.
