It was my husbands 40th birthday so I decided to spoil him with a weekend down the Gold Coast in Queensland Australia. We stayed in a beautiful apartment with breath taking views and enjoyed a delicious smorgasbord dinner. Topped off with a stroll through Surfers Paradise and a couple of tasty cocktails in one of the local bars. The next day I had planned a beautiful beautiful day on the water with some whale watching. Well what a perfect day the water was amazing and the sun was shining bright. I has chosen to head out with SeaWorld whale watching cruises and it was a fantastic experience. The cruise boat was absolutely stunning and very comfortable with plenty of room to move around the boat and get the best view. We had some amazing encounters with the whales they came in so close to the boat we had the best view of the amazing size of these creatures and boy are they huge!! It was one of the most amazing experiences we have encountered. I would highly recommend taking a day out on the water and experiences these breath taking creatures in their natural habitat it truely is amazing.
