Space Shuttle Endeavour | 穿梭機奮進號

In between our visits to Universal Studio and Disney California Adventure Park, we scheduled one day for moving of hotel as well as to go to a free exhibition of Space Shuttle Endeavour at California Science Center. California Science Center located in the middle of the two theme parks so we could visit there without a detour.

我們的洛杉磯之行，在環球影城和迪士尼加州冒險樂園之間其實是相隔了一天，在那一天我們除了搬酒店外，亦安排了在途中參觀了穿梭機奮進號的展覽。這個展覽是免費開放的，地點就在加州科學中心。位置就在兩個樂園中間，算是順道參觀。

There were other exhibitions there, for example this "Body Worlds" exhibition which was not free. As we only had limited time that we won't have enough time to see all the free exhibitions, we decided to skip this one.

到了科學中心，除了穿梭機展覽，還有其他的展覽的，當中這個人體展覽是要收費的。因為我們時間不足，所以不會再付費了，只看免費的時間都不夠呢。

There were jet fighters displayed inside the center.

入到科學中心已經見到不少戰鬥機！

We went directly to the Space Shuttle Endeavour exhibition.

我們跳過其他所有展覽直接跑到奮進號的展覽館。

What a magnificent view when you could see the shuttle in person in sure close proximity.

近距離看穿梭機真的很大很震撼！

One could also peek into the internal of Endeavour through CCTV. It was a pity that audiences were not allowed to go inside the Space Shuttle.

除了外部，觀眾亦可透過鏡頭看到穿梭機內部。可惜的是不能親身進入去感受一下。

Orbiting Workshop was also on display.

太空公作室亦有展出。

Although it was quite time consuming, kids were interested to test drive space shuttle through the simulators.

展覽館中亦安排了這個模擬駕駛遊戲給小朋友，雖然頗花時間，但仍有不少孩子嘗試。

There were completed history of the space shuttle program for those who have enough time to go through.

有時間的話可以慢慢了解整個穿梭機計劃的歷史。

I guess they also need incomings to support the free exhibition.

當然少不了看看有什麼紀念品。畢竟免費展覽是須要有收入來補貼一下。

The huge external fuel tank was displayed outside the exhibition hall of Endeavour. I was very surprised to know that all the liquid fuel stored inside would be burned in just a few minutes.
