Had arrived on Koh Mook Island early afternoon of Day 3 after checking in we made our way by the beach side to the Chill -Out-Bar. The moment we stepped on this cool sandy beach we could feel the joy of happiness and stress relief it felt a world away just a piece of paradise. We were just chilling out with some great cocktail mixes and buckets of sangria after that long journey and watching that evening sunset starting to color the skies as the sun fell lower in the far horizon.

As the sun had fully fallen beyond the horizon the night skies were lite up with the huge flames coming from the BBQ that was been prepared for our hungry tummy's that were at this stage rumbling like a volcano ready to erupt just the smell of that charcoal burning away got our mouths watering.

It was time to get up and wonder over to that banquet of outstanding food that was awaiting our hungry rumbling tummy's great choices the smell of that BBQ was just so inviting.

Awesome serving of food definitely can't beat the flavor of BBQ seafood and Pork Ribs we ate like Kings that night was the only full meal had since we had left Bangkok three days ago.

After a satisfying tasty BBQ and a few more beers and cocktails we were ready to call it the night as we had plan a early morning trip the the Morakot Cave. This is know as the main attraction on Koh Mook Island and a must if you are ever visiting Koh Mook.

The star attraction of Koh Mook, Morakot Cave (Emerald Cave) looks at first glance like little more than a hole in the base of a cliff which is the entrance to the Cave.

Now if you are brave enough you will be given a life jacket and a headband torch like a miners light it's about a 80-meter swim through a dark and narrow entrance tunnel which will emerge into a hidden lagoon where the sunlight shines down, illuminating the water and giving it its signature emerald color.

After your 80 meter swim you come out at the other end are are meant with the most beautiful surprising scenery the main hall of the cave is actually a sinkhole with a small sandy beach to one side, backed by lush greenery absolutely breath taking.

You can see i was quite excited to be amongst this environment.

Someone was monkeying around in the cave....!!

Lush Greenery in the Cave..!!

Before Morakot Cave became the tourist attraction it is today, it was said to be a favorite spot for pirates to stash their treasure. Later, locals stumbled upon the lagoon while foraging for swallows’ nests to make Chinese bird’s nest soup.

Another Cave we saw on the way back from the Morakot Cave but this one we were told had no sandy beach at the other end.

Wonderful interesting day had seen something that you would never image mother nature could ever create and will remain memorable in our minds forever i would certainly love to do that all over again but for now we were heading but to our Chill-Out-Bar for some more buckets of sangria and cocktails for the ladies and of course another repeat of that tasty BBQ dinner.

And enjoy the Sunset...!!
