After Sydney we flew to Auckland New Zealand. Then we took a bus to Tauranga.
I saw a lot of cicadas and I caught two. I caught a lot of praying mantises too. They wobbled to look like a leaf.
We went to Hobbiton Movie Set where they filmed the Lord of The Rings and The Hobbit movies. It was amazing.
For my birthday we went to Waitomo Glowworm Caves. It was very beautiful and we saw the glowing worms. We also went to Rotorua to see the geysers and the hot volcanic mud. There we saw a Maori performance and of course I saw Kiwi birds.
The next day we climbed Mount Maunganui. It was fun! Then we went to the beach and did body surfing. I really enjoyed our time in New Zealand.
